Jace and Clary- Their Future

That Special Moment

When Clary wakes up the next morning the first thing she did was run down stairs, because she was late, It was already 7:30. When she entered the library Jace, Izzy, and Alec were all talking, but as soon as she walked in they all silenced. "Okay what is going on with you guys?" Clary says angrily. "For the past three days or so you guys have been acting so weird! And I feel like your avoiding me!" Jace was the first one to react to her comments. "Clary I'm sorry we have been acting weird latly. But I have a question to ask you" He looked down and then up at Alec and Isabelle with a smile. "Will you please have dinner with me tonight? Just you  and me?" All of a sudden Clary felt better. Whenever Jace does these types of things it makes her feel special. She smiled up at him and replied, "Yes, I will have dinner with you tonight. Do I have to dress up fancy?" He looks to Isabelle to see her opinion with out me noticing, but I still see Isabelle give a faint nod of the head. Then Jace clears his Throat and says, "Yes you may dress up fancy. I want this to be a special night"

"Isabelle do you think this dress looks okay?" Clary is wearing a strapless white and blue high low dress with silver heels that she borrowed from Izzy. "Clary it looks beautiful we just need to do some thing about that fireball on your head you call hair, and add a little makeup" Clary sighs. Izzy does this anytime they go somewhere fancy or need to dress up fancy. "Fine" Clary says and sits down in front of Izzy's dresser. "Okay You ready? Your not allowed to look until I'm done" Clary laughs and tells Izzy to go on with it because she has to be in the dining room by 8:00 and it was already 7:15. It seemed like Izzy was playing with her for hours before she finally finished. She had done a deep smokey eye with light red lipstick. And for her hair she had put it half up half down. "You ready Clary?" And Clary nodded as she walked out the door and down the corridor. 

When Jace sees Clary walk into the dining  room he is stunned. He dosen't know what to say. "Clary you look...you look...amazing" She looks up at him with a smile and replies, "Thank you, and you look handsome yourself!" Jace was wearing black dress pants and a deep blue buttoned down shirt. "Shall we eat?" Jace adds in his version of a sophisticated way. Clary nodded her head and walked over to the table. Jace pulled out her chair and she say down. For dinner they had chicken over a plate of mahed potatos and a side of asparagus. Clary thought it looked delicious. Jace cleared his throat and said, "Well I was thinking after dinner we could go upstairs to the Greenhouse and hang out" Clary felt a rush of hapiness rush through her. She always loved when her and Jace went up there together. Thats where they had their first kiss. "Yes. I would love to go up to thee greenhouse with you" Jace looked very relived that she said yes, as if he thought she would say no. After they finished there dinner they had some chocolate macaroons for desert. "Alright are you ready to go upstairs?" Jace asked. "Of course" Clary replied getting up from her chair. They walked out the doors and headed up the grand staircase. 

"It's almost midnight" Jace says. Because he knows that everynight at midnight all of the flowers bloom and the fireflys come out.
