Jace and Clary- Their Future

Homecoming

As Clary and Jace got off the plane Clary stopped. "This was the best five days I've ever had and I have to thank you for that. I love you so much Jace" Clary said. Jace walked up to her and kissed her. He didn't care what other people thought, all he knew was that he loved Clary so much. "I love you too" Jace replied back. "I just wish we didn't have to leave!" Clary added. He laughed and replied back, "Me too!" They walked over to the baggage claim and got their bags. "By the angel Clary! What did you pack, rocks?" Jace said as he pulled her bag off the claim. She laughed at him and said, "No! Just everything that I needed!" He said as he started pulling of their bags behind outside. "Geez it's so cold out here!" Clary said to Jace as they stepped outside. He took his jacket off and quickly handed it to her. "Thanks" She said putting it on. It was way too big but it was warm so she was happy. "Here's a cab!" Jace said. "It can only take us to the city not to the Institute so we'l have to take another cab when we get there!" He added. "No problem" Clary replied back to him with a smile on her face. 

"I'm excited to see Izzy, Alec, and my parents! I missed them" Clary said as she got into the cab. "Me too" Jace said. They were both pretty quiet on the ride home. They were so tired from jet lag. "Here you are!" The cab driver said when they arrived in New York City. "Thank you!" They both said as they got out of the car. Jace grabbed their bags and Clary tried to grab another cab that would bring them back to the Institute. As soon as Jace got the bags out of the back he banged on the back windshield signaling that the driver could leave. About five minutes later Clary managed to grab a cab. When they got in Jace said, "Please take us to the abandoned Gothic Cathedral please!" Handing the driver thirty dollars. "Um...Okay I guess. Not to be nosey or anything but why the hell would you want to go there?" The driver replied back to Jace. "We are interested in seeing it. We will not be going inside of course but we would like to see it" Jace replied back. Clary was very surprised about how calmly Jace said that. "With all this luggage?" The driver kept asking. "Yes with all this luggage. Can we go now? Were on a time schedule" Jace said in a kind of annoyed way. The driver nodded and they were off to the Institute also know as the abandoned Gothic Cathedral. 

"Here you go!" The driver said sarcastically, "Have a very joyful day!" Jace didn't seem amused. He paid the driver and got out. "C'mon Clary were home!" Jace said pulling out their bags. They waited for the driver to go away before they went inside. Clary stopped at the front doors and admired the Institute. "Clary?" Jace asked, "Are you okay?" She smiled. "Ya I'm fine. It's just a shame that the mundanes can't see how beautiful it is" She finally broke out of her daydream and walked up the steps taking Jace's hand. 

"Izzy! Alec! Were here!" Clary yelled when they walked inside. They heard a scream and hard footsteps coming and coming fast. "Izzy" Jace said looking at Clary. She laughed. Izzy came bounding down the stairs and gave them both gigantic hugs. "Ahhhh I missed you guys so much!" Izzy said. Alec casually came walking down the stairs. "Hey guys!" He said. he also came over and gave them a hug. "So...Tell us everything!" Izzy said. "Well we didn't really-" Clary was cut off by Izzy. "Wait come in the living room and tell us there is a surprise in there!" Izzy said happily. Jace and Clary looked at each other wondering what could be in there. They walked in slowly to find Luke, Jocelyn, and Simon sitting on the couch. "Mom! Luke!" Clary yelled running over to them. "We missed you so much!" Luke said giving Clary a hug. "Simon! I missed you so much too!" Clary said running over to him. "I missed you too Clary!" Simon replied back. "Okay," Isabelle said, "Now you can tell us everything!" Clary thought about it for a moment. "Well there really is not much to tell!" Clary said. "Ya she's right we just hung out at the beach or pool everyday and went out to dinner at night" Jace added. "Well me and Luke have to go" Jocelyn said standing up. "We love you all!" Luke said giving a goodbye hug to everyone. "Well me and Jace are gonna go unpack!" Clary said. "Ya me and Simon are gonna go upstairs to my room too!" Izzy said. Once her and Simon got upstairs Alec said, "I'm going over to Magnus's loft! See ya!" And then he ran out of the room. 

When Jace finally reached the top of the stairs he was out of breath. He had carried both of the bags up the stairs and they were pretty heavy. "Okay well here you go!" Jace said when he put the bag on her bed. "Thank you Jace!" Clary said giving him a kiss. "I'm gonna go unpack too see you in a little!" Jace said. "Okay me too!" Clary replied back. When Jace left Izzy just magically showed up as if she was waiting for him to leave. "Hey Iz what's up?" Clary asked when Izzy walked in. "Not much just thought I would help you unpack" She said. "Okay" Clary said. Izzy helped her hang up her dresses and put away her bathing suits. Clary grunted. "What's wrong?" Izzy asked Clary. She was kind of worried. "Nothing just haven't been feeling good the past day or two" Clary said. "I think I'm gonna set up a doctor's appointment for tomorrow" After she said that she pulled out her phon and made the call so she wouldn't forget. "Alright I'm going tomorrow at eleven" Clary said. "Well," Isabelle said, "I'l leave and let you rest! See you tomorrow!" She left and Clary wen't to bed to sleep.
