Jace and Clary- Their Future

The Wedding (Reception)

Before Clary and Jace entered the ballroom for the reception they had to wait for Alec to annonce them. About two minutes passed and they finally heard, "I am now proud to present to you Mr. and Mrs. Jace Herondale!" Everyone cheered as they walked to the table where they would be eating their meal along with Jocelyn, Luke, Mayrse, Izzy, and Alec. Tears of joy started running down Jocelyn's face when she saw Clary come to the table. Since Clary wasen't much of a designer she left most of the design up to her mother and Mayrse. "Mom! Mayrse! Everything looks so beautiful!" Clary said as she saw. The table was white with blue runners, The centerpeices were  blue and white hydrangeas in a tall and skinny vase. But, Clary's favorite was the plates. They were a very shiny gold with their initinals on them. "Who's ready for some dinner!" Alec said through the microphone before heading back over to the table.

For dinner they had a three course meal. The first course was a small baby spinch salad. That was Clary's favorite out of the three courses. The second course was chicken with rice on the side. That was Alec's favorite. Although Alec loved anything that was editable. The third and final course was wedding cake. The wedding cake was four layers covered in gold flowers and at the top, a bride and groom. "Who's ready to cut the cake!" Luke said and then motioned for Clary and Jace to come over. "Alright you guys get to cut the cake!" Luke said handing them a cakeknife. Clary made a sad face. "What's wrong?" Jace asked concerened for Clary. "I don't want to cut it!" She replied, "It's too pretty" Jace laughed at her. "FIne" She said. Her and Jace both held the cake knife and Jace stood behind her as they made the first slice and put it on a plate. Jace held it up and smiled. All the guests started cheering. 

"Now it is time for the father and daughter dance" Alec said, "Clary. Luke. Will you please come up here!"luke and Clary started dancing as they turned on a slow dance song. Clary started crying. "Clary you look so beautiful and I love you so much. They danced for about five minutes until they heard Alec say, "Jace it is now your turn to dance with your new bride!" Jace walks up to Clary, lifts her up and spins her around and places her back down. "Shall we dance?" Jace says to Clary. She nods her head as they start to dance. The song they dance to is All of Me By John Legend. He is a mundane singer but Jace loves it. He starts singing about halfway into the song and Clary started laughing hysterically. After the song ends everybody started cheering once again. "Now," Jace said, "Will everyone please join us on the dance floor" Everyone pilled onto the dance floor and had a great night full of dancing, food, and most of all love.
