"Jace I'll be back sometime tonight!" Clary yelled to Jace through his bedroom door. But before she could leave he opened up the door. "Where are you going?" He asked. She sighed and replied back, "I told you! I'm spending the day with Simon. We haven't been able to hang out in a while" Jace smiled down at her and nodded. Before she turned around and left he gave her a quick kiss on the forehead. Before Clary left she decided to say bye to Isabelle. "Hey Izzy I'll be back tonight bye!" She yelled into the kitchen where Isabelle and Alec were sitting. "Okay have a good time with Simon! Tell him I say hi!". "Gotcha. Thanks! Bye!" Clary yelled to Izzy before shutting the large door of the Institute behind her.

"Hey Clary! Over here!" Simon yelled to Clary across the room of Java Jones. Clary rushed over to the table where Simon was Simon and almost knocked him over by the force of a hug. "Oh Simon I've missed you so much!" He smiled down at her and replied, "I missed you too!" They both go over to the counter and order. They both bet coffee even though Simon doesn't really eat or drink anymore. "So how's the memory coming?" Clary asked Simon wondering if he remember anything else important since the last time she saw him. He thought about it. "Better actually! I'm noticing lately I'm remembering a ton from when we were really little" He smiled at himself and then said, "Like I remember the time that we took one of your moms canvas's and did finger paint all over that" Clary remembered that too. Her mom has it hanging up in her studio at her house. "Also how are you and Isabelle?" Clary asked Simon wondering what he would say. He gave her a sarcastic smile and said, "Were good. How are you and Jace?" Clary smiled back up at him "We are good!!" Clary suddenly had an idea. "Hey you wanna go to my mom and Luke's I haven't seen her yet since the engagement and we can hang out like old times!!" Simon loved the idea of this. "Yes I would love to!!"

Clary had to knock on the door when they got there because she had accidentally left her keys on her bed back at the Institute. "Coming!" She heard Jocelyn yell as she came to the door. When the door opened Jocelyn screamed and gave both Clary and Simon big hugs. "Ahhh let me see the ring!!" Her mom said wanting to see her engagement ring. She gasped when she saw it. "Oh Clary it's beautiful!!" Jocelyn replied. "I know right isn't it?" Simon finally broke the girl moment and said, "Why don't we go find Luke!" Jocelyn and Clary laughed at Simon knowing he wanted to just escape the girly moment.

"Luke!!" Jocelyn yelled up the stairs. "What!!!!" Luke yelled down the stairs until he saw Clary. "Clary!!!" He yelled running down the stairs and giving her a big hug. "Congratulations!!" He smiled down at her. "Thanks!! Me and Simon were just wondering of him and I could hang out here with you guys?" Jocelyn and Luke looked a Teach other and Jocelyn replied back, "Of course you and Simon are always welcome here!"
