Jace and Clary- Their Future

Java Jones

It's only a week until Clary and Jace's wedding and Clary is finally coming back from Alicante. "Come on! Izzy! Maia! we have to go now!" Clary called upstairs starting to panic because they were running late. "Bye Emma we'll miss you!" Clary says as her, Isabelle, and Maia exit the house. They run down the street to the place where the portal going to be opened at the gate. "Were here! Were here!" Maia called as they hauled all of there belongings behind them. As soon as they got their the portal was opening and they ran right through.

"Clary!" Jace yelled as soon as she saw her pass through the portal. "Jace!" She yelled back as they hugged each other for the first time in days. Simon and Isabelle did the same thing. "I missed you so much" Jace said to Clary giving her a kiss. She smiled and shed a couple tears of joy because she was so happy to see him. Clary turned around to find Maia sadly staring at her and Jace and at Izzy and Simon, who were kissing as if no one else was there with them. "Come on guys!" Clary said, "Let's go for some coffee!" Trying to get Maia to cheer up. She afterall had lost her boyfriend not too long ago and has still not recovered completly. "Can we go to Java Jones?" Maia asked, obviously knowing the answer. "Yes!" Simon and Clary said in unison as they headed to get a taxi.

"We have to stop at the Institute to drop off our stuff" Isabelle said, "Maia we will meet you at Java Jones in an hour?" She asked. Maia nodded and headed off in the cab. As Maia drove away Clary became sad. "What's wrong?" Isabelle asked Clary. "It's just that I feel bad for Maia" Clary replied back. "Why?" Jace asked. "Because," Clary replied. "We all either have boyfriends or girlfriends and hers is.....gone" She ran to Jace. "I love you" She whispered into his shoulder in the middle of a slight sniffle. Jace motioned for Izzy and Simon to go and catch a cab. "Hey..Hey..What's wrong" He asked Clary feeling very concerned. She sniffed in once again trying to hold back tears. "It's just...I don't want to loose you Jace..Ever" He smiled back down at her. "You won't ever loose me. I promise" He said back to her as they hoped in a cab.

When Clary and Jace get back to the Institute Isabelle an Simon were waiting for them in the kitchen. "Come on guys we have to go! We are supposed to be at Java Jones in twenty minutes!" Isabelle said as soon as they walked in. "Okay let's go I'll leave my bags here" Clary said walking out of the kitchen with Isabelle.

The ride to Java Jones was quiet. Going through the portal made Isabelle and Clary very tired. "So," Simon said. "Are you guys excited for the wedding next week!" Jace looked over at him and sighed. "Yes Simon we are. But you know you are very bad at starting conversation" Clary giggled and replied back, "Jace be nice" Then they pulled up to Java Jones.

"Where were you guys?" Maia asked when they walked in. "Sorry we got caught in a lot of traffic on the way here!" Isabelle said while ordering five coffees. When the coffees are done they all go over and sit at a table. "So how was Alicante?" Jace asked as soon as they say down. Ever since him and Clary had gotten engaged he had gotten very protective of Clary so he wanted to know exactly what they did. "It was amazing!" Maia said. "Ya it was we had a bachelorette party too!" Clary added. "What did you guys do?" Simon asked. "We got a manicure!" Isabelle said while showing him her fresh nail polish done only two days before. They continued talking for a while until they all decided to go home, tired from the very long day.
