Suprise

"What happened to Clary last night?" Jace asked Isabelle when he came downstairs for dinner. "She wasen't feeling good. I told her to get some rest. She is going to the doctors today" Isabelle replied back. Jace shot her a worried lokk and then went upstairs. When he reached Clary's room he walked in. "Clary?" He whispered. She didn't answer, she was still sleeping. He went over to the bed and shook her awake. "What?" She said. "Hey it's me. Wake up it's nine" Jace said softly running his fingers through her hair. "Oh geez I need to wake up i have an appointment at eleven" She replied back rubbing her eyes. She sat up and gave Jace a kiss. "Why didn't tell me you weren't feeling good? Do you want me to come with you today?" Jace asked. "No I'm fine" Clary whispered. She got up and went to her closet and got dressed./ Then she went into the bathroom and brushed her teeth and hair. "Let's go downstairs!" Clary said taking Jace's hand and walked out of the room. 

"Good Morning Clary," Isabelle said, "You feeling any better?" She asked. "Not really" Clary replied back. "I have to go now. Tell Jace I left" She added and left. When Clary got outside she grabbed a cab and told him where to go. "Medical Office of Manhattan please" Clary said to the driver. "You got it" He replied back. On her way there she fell asleep. She didn't get much sleep last night because she was so sick. "Ma'am?" The driver repeated over and over until Clary finally woke up. "By the angel sorry! Thank you!" Clary said. When Clary got out the driver whispered to himself, "By the angel? What does that even mean?" And then drove away. When Clary went inside the doctors office she checked in. She went and took a seat and read a magazine. She was catching up on her mundane world news, she hasen't been able to see what's going on with her favorite celeberty's in a while. "Clary Herondale?" The nurse said. Clary got up and walked over to her. "Clary! Haven't seen you in a while! Did you get married?" The nurse asked her. "Yes I did!" Clary replied holding her hand up and showing the nurse her engagement ring. "You are only twenty- I mean congratulations!" The nurse said back confused. The nurse led her into a room where Clary waited for the doctor for about fifteen minutes. "Clary! How are you?" Doctor Penny said when he walked in. "I'm okay. Just not feeling so good" She replied back. "Okay!" Dr. Penny said and started checking her out. "I'll be right back Clary! I just have to go and check something out" He said before walking out of the room. This worried Clary. What could be wrong? Clary thought to herself. 

When Dr. Penny returned he had a large smile on his face. "What is it?" Clary asked. "I have great news for you Clary!" Clary wondered what could be great about being sick. "Umm...Ok? What is it?" She asked very confused. "Your having a baby! Congratulations!" Dr. Penny yelled. Clary's jaw dropped. She was so surprised. "I'm...I'm...Having a baby?" She asked still in complete shock. "Yup!" Dr penny said, "You are free to go now we will call you when you can come back. Go home! Tell everyone!" He said opening the door. Clary stood up and put her hand to her stomach. "Thank you very much Dr Penny!" Clary said as she exited the building. As soon as she got out she grabbed her phone and called Jace. "Hello?" Jace said. "Oh Jace hey! Thank god you answered. Come to Java Jones now I need to talk to you" Clary said breathing heavily. "Okay? Is everything okay Clary?" Jace replied back. He sounded worried. "Ya everything is fine just come to Java Jones okay? Love you! Bye!" And she hung up. She quickly grabbed a cab and told the driver to take her to Java Jones. 

When Clary finally got to Java Jones Jace was already there. "Hey!" He ran up to her and kissed her. "What's going on?" He asked. "How about we sit down and get some coffee first?" Clary said. She walked over and ordered to coffee's with cream and sugar for them and then sat down in a big armchair next to Jace. "So there is something I have to tell you Jace and I'm not sure how your gonna react" She said softly to Jace. "Clary you can tell me anything you know that, so just tell me your killing me with this suspense!" Jace said. "Ok! Jace I'm...I'm...I'm having a baby!" She said and then smiled. Jace just sat there and stared at her. "Jace?" Clary said. "Um..Clary this is so amazing. we are going to be parents! I'm so excited! Don't worry it'll be fine" Jace said breaking out of shock. they both stood up and Jace lifted up Clary and kissed her. "I love you Jace!" Clary replied back as they walked out of Java Jones hand in hand. 

When Jace and Clary got back to the Institute they called Clary's parents and told them to come over. "Hey Mom!" Clary said happily through the phone. "Hey Clary! What's up?" Jocelyn replied back. "Oh not really anything come over!" Clary yelled. "Ok!" Jocelyn said and then hung up the phone. "Told you she would come over!" Clary told Jace. "Should we tell Isabelle and Alec?" Jace asked Clary. She nodded her head. About ten minutes later they were all gathered in the living room. "Okay you got us all in here. What do you want?" Alec asked. Clary and Jace looked at each other and smiled. "Okay can you just tell us the suspense is killing me!" Jocelyn said. "Okay Okay" Jace said, "Clary you tell them!" Clary nodded her head. "Okay! We're...We're...Having a baby!" She yelled and threw herself at Jace. Isabelle screamed and ran over to Clary. Jocelyn followed Izzy shortly after and started crying. "When did you find out?" Izzy asked. "About two hours ago!" Clary replied back and went in for another hug. Clary looked up and saw Jace and Luke shaking hands and Jace and Alec hugging each other. For hours they talked about plans and names, but ay about ten thirty Jocelyn and luke had to leave. After they left everyone said goodnight. Clary decided that tonight she was going to spend the night in Jace's room, and she did just that.
