Bridesmaids and Flower Girls

As Isabelle and Simon's wedding drew closer and closer it was time to start getting dresses. Isabelle was having Clary, Emma, and Maia being her bridesmaids and Lizzy was being the flower girl. Lizzy being the big three year old girl that she was got to help Aunti Izzy pick out dresses. Together they picked out floor length black dresses from a bridal shop about three blocks away from the Institute. That morning Clary got woken up to little hands pulling the blanket off her bed, "What Jace?" She said groggily. "Mommy it's not Daddy, it's Lizzy! Wake up we have to go with Aunti Izzy" She squealed and then ran over to Jace. When she finally got him awake, he chuckled, "You wake up even earlier than Daddy!" He said, then lifted her and put her in the middle of him and Clary. She crossed her arms, "Mommy WAKE UP! We have to go!" Clary sat up and then took her in her arms. She gently kissed the top her head, "Good morning to you too! I have an idea!" She looked over at Jace and gave him a sly look, "Why don't we go and see if Aunti Izzy is awake and maybe.....Simon is with her!" That got Jace. "Ya and if he is, put him in a headlock for me!" Jace yelled to them as they walked out the door.

Clary and Lizzy tiptoed down the hallway to Isabelle's room. When they reached the door Clary opened it a crack. She scanned the room and looked at Izzy's bed, in it was her and Simon. She laughed to herself. Jace is going to kill him! She thought. "Okay Lizzy, go and jump on Aunti Izzy!" Clary whispered . Lizzy smiled and crawled into the room. Neither Simon or Izzy even flinched. Lizzy then stood up on the bench at the end of the bed and jumped. Clary watched her fly through the air and land right in the middle of Simon and Isabelle. Izzy let out a high pitched scream and Simon just fell off the bed. That's when Clary opened the door and walked in. She laughed until she couldn't breathe. "By the Angel Lizzy! You scared me!" Isabelle said and scooped up Lizzy. "Ow!" They heard Simon yell from the floor. "You okay?" Clary yelled over to Simon. He responded by sticking a thumbs up into the air. Clary crosses the room and sat on the bed with Isabelle and Lizzy. "She's been talking about getting her dress all morning" Clary said. Isabelle smiled, "Well let's get ready then! Do you mind if I get Lizzy ready today? Me and Simon can take her to breakfast too! Give you and Jace some time together!" Clary smiled, a morning with just her and Jace? That sounded amazing! "Ya no problem! Thanks!" Clary answered. Before leaving the room she gave Lizzy a hug and kiss, then left Simon, Izzy, and Lizzy alone.

"Where is Lizzy?" Jace asked when Clary walked in the room alone. "She is going to spend the morning with Izzy and uh......Simon. He was here" Clary said. She smiled and sat criss-crossed on the bed. "Oh great!" He answered sarcastically. "Well we can sleep in or get ready. You pick" Clary said, though she knew what he was going to say. "I vote sleep!" Jace said and climbed under the covers with Clary. They both then drifted off to sleep hearing the faint voices of Izzy and Lizzy in the room next door.

"Aunti Izzy can we wear pretty clothes today?" Lizzy asked. Even though she wasen't the girliest little girl she still loved to dress up pretty. "Of course!" Isabelle answered looking through Elizabeth's closet. "Do you want to wear black or gray outfits?" Isabelle asked. "Gray!" Lizzy replied back. Within ten minutes Lizzy was dressed in a dark gray dress with a light gray jacket and black tights and boots. Her hair was pulled into a french braid, that Isabelle was very proud of. Then they headed back to Isabelle's room to get her dressed. Lizzy waited on Isabelle's bed while Izzy got dressed. When she came out of her closet she wore a outfit almost identical to Lizzys, her request of course. Izzy then sat down at her vanity and did her hair and makeup. "Let's go get Simon!" Isabelle said when she was done. She was quick because she didn't want to make Lizzy bored. Twenty minutes later they were walking out the door of the Institute with Lizzy on Simon's shoulders and Izzy walking closely beside them.

"What do you want Iz?" Simon asked as he ordered the three of them breakfast. "Just a coffee!" She replied. Lizzy had already dug into a fresh baked chocolate chip muffin and had chocolate on her face. "When do get to see Wmma?" She would ask between bites. Lizzy loved Emma, and that was an understatement. Whenever they were together Lizzy is glued to Emma. "In about an hour-" Isabelle said. She stopped midsentence and gasped, "One hour! Oh god Simon can you get the coffee to go?" She asked. "Ya sure" Simon said and smiled at his soon to be wife. But she didn't seem to notice, she was cleaning up Lizzy's face and was trowing away the muffins wrapper. "All right! Ready to go home, Emma will be there very soon" Isabelle said and took Lizzy's hand. Lizzy's eyes lit up and she started heading toward the door.

"Izzy? Lizzy?" Jace said when he heard the door shut. "Ya were here!" Simon yelled back. They could hear Jace's sigh through the wall. A second later the doorbell rang. "Emma!" Lizzy yelled and ran to the door. Isabelle followed her and opened the door. When she opened the door Emma and Maia were standing in the doorway. "Emma! Emma! Emma!" Lizzy chanted. Emma laughed and took Lizzy in her arms. "I missed you Liz!" Emma said as she hugged Lizzy as tight as she could. "Hey Izzy!" She took one free arm and wrapped it around Izzy to give her a hug. "Maia!" Isabelle said and gave her a hug. Isabelle noticed something something a little different about Maia...something she haden't seen since Jordan. "Hey Iz!" Maia replied back. "Everyone ready?" Isabelle said and made sure everyone was ready. Maia and Clary were talking and Emma and Lizzy were next to her waiting."Yup!" They all replied. They started down the stairs and toward the bridal shop.

About fifteen minutes later they were at the shop. Clary had to lift up Lizzy because she was touching everything. "Hi!" A woman said, "You must be the Lightwood party! I'm Alice! I'll be helping you with your dresses today!" She was a small girl with red-brown hair and dark brown eyes. "Yes we are," Isabelle said, "We were just hear to try on long back bridesmaids dresses" Alice seemed to already know, but she listened to Isabelle anyway. "Okay, Great! Follow me!" Alice said and led us through a doorway.

In the room there were four dressing rooms. One for Emma, one for Maia, one for Clary, and one for Lizzy. In each there was long black dresses that Isabelle had chosen for them to wear. "Alright you can find the room with your name on it and get changed! When your done you can come back out to show Isabelle and I!" Alice said. "I'll help Lizzy!" Izzy said and then walked Lizzy into her dressing room. "You get a special dress!" She said to Lizzy. It was a short dress, also black, with black lace sleeves. It fit her perfect and looked ten times better. "Can we come out?" Emma asked through the curtain. "Yes please do!" Isabelle yelled back. She had left Lizzy to come out by herself like a big girl. The four girls all came out of their rooms at the same time. Isabelle gasped when they walked out and started tearing up, "You guys look so beautiful!" She said. She hugged them all and they talked for a long time. When it was almost time to go they had Alice take a picture of them, Isabelle in the middle with Clary and Maia on her left and Emma and Lizzy on her right. "One...Two....Three....Smile" Alice said. Click. She took the photo and now Isabelle would remember this day for the rest of her life.

Hey guys! How are you? Sorry I haven't updated in a little while but I was REALLY busy this week! I got to spend time with one of my bestfriends this week and we did yearbooks together! It was pretty fun! Well i was hoping to get some of Isabelle's wedding fit in so that it didn't go right from the engagement to the wedding.....that would be kind of weird..lol. Anyway I was hoping you guys might have some suggestions for the wedding! I would love to get some input from you guys! I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter, and don't forget to comment below.
