Time was flying by. Elizabeth was five, they had been in their new home for almost eight months now, and Clary's due date was inching closer and closer, April twenty-second.

Lizzy was at her best friend Oliver's house, so Clary and Jace took a trip to the beach. They both wore jackets because the air was still a bit chilly and they sat on a white and navy blanket that Jocelyn had gotten them for a house warming gift.

The sun was setting and it was a pinkish color that reminded Clary of when she first had Elizabeth. It was also a beautiful spring day, all the flowers in the garden bloomed and the sun sitting in the sky. That morning her and Jace were just a young married couple waiting for their little baby to come into the world. She remembered seeing the nurse hand her Elizabeth wrapped up in a pink blanket, the color of the sky she was watching, and looking into her big gold eyes. Full of life and love. The day her life changed forever, for the better of course.

"So," Jace said to her. "Are you ready?" She looked over at her over her shoulder. He looked at her with so much love and compassion she didn't know what she would have ever done without him. He was always there for her, since the day they met, and even when they had thought they were siblings she never stopped loving him. But she didn't realize just how much she loved him until Elizabeth was born. Seeing him hold her and play with her as she grew made her realize that she would never stop loving him. No matter what happened.

"Yes," She answered. "How could I not? I have the best family I could ever ask for and it's about to expand!" She smiled and kissed him. "Well I'm glad." He answered. They laid down on their blanket and looked up at the stars until they noticed how much time had passed by.

"Oh shoot!" Clary said sitting up quickly. "What? Are you okay?" Jace said. Clary stood up and brushed all of the sand off of her clothes. "We have to go pick up Lizzy!" She said.

They walked to the car and Jace opened the door for Clary pretending to be a prince opening the door of a carriage, "Your carriage awaits my lady!" He said holding out his hand.

Clary burst into laughter and got into the car, "Why thank you!"

On the way home they listened to Taylor Swift's 'Blank Space'. Ever since it came out Jace wouldn't stop listening to it. "But I've got a blank space baby, and I'll write your name!" He sang as loud as he could. Clary covered her ears and told him how horrible he was at singing. "Well that's not nice!" He would say and smile at her as big as he could.

When they pulled into Oliver's driveway they could see him and Elizabeth sitting on the couch watching 'The Wonder Pets'. Jace quickly got Lizzy and brought her back to the car and buckled her up. "Daddy I can do it!" She would say and would make Jace unbuckle her so she could do it herself.

"She's a big girl now!" Clary said to Jace as they drove home. "I know it's just that I wish she wouldn't grow up!" Jace said. With that Clary pointed at her baby bump and said, "Well now we start all over!" And her and Jace laughed.

Later on that night when she was lying in bed she started to think about weather the baby was a girl a boy. She wanted a boy, but all she cared about was if the baby was happy and healthy. That's when she felt a kick. Nothing out of the ordinary, just a regular little kick. Jace had told her that whenever the baby kicked he or she was saying, "Come on Mommy let me out of here! I'm getting claustrophobic!" She laughed to herself.

She tossed and turned for about two hours before she found the perfect position and drifted off to sleep. In her dreams she saw herself and Jace with Lizzy running around in front of them. But the dream changed. Instead of her and Jace with their happy family it was her and Sebastian. She held his hand and he kissed her on the forehead. She was holding a glass with water. The image then started to zoom in more on Lizzy. Her red hair bouncing as she ran and her eyes changed colors. They were green instead of gold. Then the worst part came, while she wasn't looking Sebastian added a few drops of a dark liquid into her drink. But before Clary could realize what it was she took a sip. Demon Blood.
