Jace and Clary- Their Future

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis

It was the morning of December fourteenth and there was a light layer of snow covering the ground. The sky was blue and the air was cold. Isabelle was in her room sleeping, dreaming of the day ahead of her. The day she became Mrs. Lewis. Clary was already awake helping Mayrse with the decor until she decided it was time for Isabelle to wake up. She quickly went up the stairs and slipped into Isabelle's room. She looked around the room and there was things scattered everywhere; brushes, makeup, hair accessories, and clothes. Her eyes lingered to Isabelle, she was sleeping with a slight smile on her face. she walked to the edge of Isabelle's bed and gently tried to wake her up, while simultaneously remembering her wedding day when Isabelle had done the same for her.

"Clary! Clary! Get up!" Isabelle yelled while shaking Clary trying to get her up. "What Isabelle! What do you want!" Clary replied half asleep. Isabelle gasped at Clary's response. "What do I want? I want you to get up because it is your wedding day and there is so much to do!" 

She smiled and continued waking up Isabelle. "Hello!" Isabelle said as soon as she woke up. "Hi, you ready for your big day!" Clary said smiling down at her. A tear fell down Isabelle's face as she realized all of her dreams of her and Simon were about to come true, "Ya...Ya I am! Let's go!" and she popped out of bed and stretched. She started running around trying to pick up a few things and then we started doing her hair and makeup. Unlike Clary and Jace's wedding Isabelle's was in the morning so they had to get going. Less than three hours till Isabelle and Robert walk down the aisle. Isabelle had been teaching Clary how to do hair and makeup for the last week or so, so she could help Maia. Ten minutes later Maia and Emma busted through the door, "Who's ready to get married?" Maia yelled. They laughed and got back to work. An hour later Isabelle had a beautiful dark smokey eye with dark red lipstick and a head full of flowing loose curls, topped off with a diamond and black jeweled hair piece in the back.

Then they heard a knock on the door. Isabelle jumped and the rest of the girls turned faster than they thought was possible. "Simon if that is you I swear-" Clary started. "It's not! It's Lizzy she wants to be with the girls!" Jace said. They all sighed and Clary went and got Lizzy. "Aunti Izzy looks like a Princess!" Lizzy said when she entered the room. Izzy laughed and outstretched her arms to Lizzy. She jumped into them and gave her Aunti a big Wedding day hug. For the rest of the morning the bridesmaids did their hair and makeup and tried to perfect Izzy's cause she was the star. Even Lizzy got to wear a little makeup. She loved it, but Clary wasen't sure what Jace would think. After all that is his little girl. 

When eleven o'clock rolled along all of the bridesmaids were in their dresses and all that was left to do was get Isabelle in her dress. They spent fifteen minutes making sure all of the ties and strings were correct and making sure her train was okay. She was stunning. She was in a strapless, sweetheart-neckline, princess gown. The top was covered in jewels and the bottom was plain and simple. It was elegant, yet very...Isabelle. The neck step was going downstairs to go and meet her dad and get the bridesmaids down the aisle. The groomsmen were Jace, Alec, Eric, Matt, and Kirk. Jace was paired with Clary, Maia with Alec, and Emma with Eric, poor Emma. Then Matt and Kirk would walk down alone. They made it downstairs with only about five minutes to spare. The girls made sure Isabelle was all set and then got into their spots. It was time to go down the aisle. 

Lizzy was the first down the aisle, dropping white flower petals and she made her way down the aisle. All the guests stood up and shifted so that they were able to see the door that Isabelle and Robert would be coming out of. But first the bridesmaids and groomsmen; first Jace and Clary, second Alec and Maia, third Eric and Emma, followed by Matt and Kirk. They all arranged on the alter, girls on the left and guys on the right. Then the doors opened. 

Out came Isabelle and Robert. Isabelle was tightly gripping onto his daughters forearm holding back tears. She smiled at him and they started down the aisle. Clary took a quick peek at Simon when Isabelle first walked out, his eyes were sparkling and their was a tear rolling down his face. Everybody stared at Isabelle as she passed by each row before making it to the alter. She really was the most beautiful girl Clary had ever met. Robert quickly gave Isabelle a hug and a kiss on the cheek before placing her gentle hand into Simon's. They then turned and faced each other hands in front of each other. They said their vows and Clary started crying. She couldn't help it, she was so happy. Her best friend since kindergarten was getting married to her sister-in-law. The last words of Simon's vows were beautiful, "I know you have saved my life on multiple occasions, and that's why I'm still here," Everyone giggled, and Simon's family was a bit confused, "And I promise to love you for however long I live and I will never, ever, stop loving you Isabelle Lightwood" Isabelle sobbed and smiled. "By the power invested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife!" The man said and everyone started cheering. But Isabelle and Simon didn't take their eyes off each other. "You may now kiss the bride!" He said. They both smiled and kissed each other now as Mr. and Mrs. Simon Lewis. 

When everyone filed into the large ballroom Isabelle and Simon went into the living room to have a little bit of time by themselves. "I love you so much" Simon said to Izzy. She was crying and she couldn't stop so she wraped her arms around him and and said, "I love you too" Into his shoulders. But their time alone didn't last long, Maia came in and told them that it was time to make their entrance. But who cares? They have the rest of their lives together!

"And now, Mr. and Mrs. Simon Lewis!" Luke yelled into he microphone when the doors flew open and Simon and Isabelle came out holding hands and waving to everyone. They started to have their first dance to the song 'All of Me' by John Legend.

At one point Simon started singing, really badly, and it made Isabelle laughed. Then Robert cut in when the song changed. He apologized that he hadn't seen her in a long time but she cut him off and told him to forget about all that stuff, just for tonight. They danced and Isabelle enjoyed having her father's presence for once. After a while everybody was on the dance floor and dancing while the DJ played some music. It was a lot of fun!

At around three o'clock they settled down for dinner and made toasts. First Alec made a toast followed by Jace. Everyone laughed at Jace's, although it wasen't meant to be. "I swear if he ever hurts my sister again...even if it wasen't intentional like last time, I will find him and hurt him" He said. Everyone laughed at that. Then Clary said hers, "I've know Simon practically my entire life and I know he will treat Isabelle like royalty. He is by far one of the most trust-worthy and loyal people I have  ever met" She then started to tear up again and gave Simon a big hug that lasted for a while. 

After everyone finished people started roaming around and talking to everyone. "Clary, sweetheart!" Elaine, Simon's mother, said when she found her. "I haven't seen you in years, not since your wedding! I heard you had a baby!" She said. As if it was planned Lizzy came up behind Clary and said, "Simon said he is coming to live with you, me, daddy, and Aunti Izzy! Is that true" Clary smiled and nodded. "Lizzy sweetie their is someone I want you to meet. She is an old friend of mine, Simon's mommy!" She said and pointed toward Elaine. Lizzy was shy when it came to meeting adults for the first time, but she liked Elaine. "Hi honey! Your so cute! Oh Clary she is just precious!" Eline said and gave Lizzy a hug. She then crouched down to talk to Lizzy, "And what is your name?" She asked. "My name is Elizabeth but you can call me Lizzy!" She answered. For another hour or so Lizzy talked with Elaine while Clary talked to everyone else. 

By seven o'clock Lizzy was exhausted and was ready for bed. But she wouldn't go upstairs unless Simon went with her. So, Simon had to be excused from his own wedding to put his little niece to bed. Everybody thought it was adorable, especially Clary and Izzy. So while Simon was gone the bridesmaids caught up on what had happened and Isabelle showed them her wedding band. 

"Okay! SHe's gone for the night!" Simon said when he walked up to Clary and Isabelle. He wrapped his arm around Isabelle's waist and said, "Ah I love this! My two favorite girls in the world are best friends and sisters! Couldn't get any better than that!" They all laughed and talked for the remainder of the party, until they had to say their goodbyes to everyone as they left the Institute. "Thank you all for coming!" Isabelle said one last time before shutting the door behind her. She had changed out of her wedding gown and had put on a black sequenced dress that was now causing her to have goosebumps on her arms and legs from the cold December air outside. 

At the end of the night they were all sitting in the living room when it started snowing. And Simon being the weirdo that he is yelled, "It's a Christmas Miracle!" Before heading upstairs for the night with his beautiful new bride.
