Jace and Clary- Their Future

"I'll see you tomorrow Izzy! Jace and I really have to go" Clary yelled down the hall to Isabelle. Clary wait! I have to tell you something" Izzy screamed to Clary. She stopped so close to Clary's face that she could feel Izzy's breath blowing on her face.
"Simon's memory is getting so good now that he remembers almost everything that happened when him and I were at Magnus's with Alec" Clary suddenly seemed interested, but it suddenly faded when she sighed and whispers, "Izzy that is great but Jace and I seriously have to go" When Clary turns away she starts running down the hallway to finds Jace in his room. She always loved going into his room. It was always neat and smelled like Jace. It was her favorite place to be with him. "Jace come on we have to go, I told my mom and Luke we would be there at 7:30" He turned around and saw how worried she looked about being late, so he walked up to her gave he a quick kiss and whispered "Ok, then we better go" Then before she knew it she was lifted off the ground and Jace was running with her in his arms down the corridor.
When they pulled up to Luke's house at about 7:45 her mom was sitting on the deck in the rocking chairs along with Luke. As soon as Clay hops off of Jace's motorcycle she runs up to her mom and gives her a huge hug. "You know I don't like that motorcycle" Jocelyn says into Clary's shoulder. Clary gave a little chuckle and then moved over to Luke. "I've missed you since this morning" Luke says to Clary as her mom gives Jace a hug. When they all finish exchanging hugs and Luke and Jace share a handshake they all head inside for dinner. As soon as they walk through the door the smell of roasted chicken and potatoes fills the air. "It smells so delicious in here" Jace tells Jocelyn. "Thank you very much Jace, I've been working on it all day while you and Clary were with Isabelle and Simon" she said in a very confident voice. "By the way Clary, how is Simon doing?" She says this very calmly knowing that he is in good hands between his mom and his sister Rebecca and Clary and Isabelle. Jocelyn has always been like a second mother to Simon. He was obviously around a lot because he spent seventy five percent of his time with Clary before they got introduced to the Shadowhunter world and before they met Jace and Isabelle. "He is doing very well Mom. His memory is coming back quicker than Magnus thought it would" Clary says. "Well that's great to hear. Now, who's hungry" Jocelyn says with a smile.
When Luke and Jocelyn and Clary and Jace sit down at the table everyone is silent at first. That's until Luke broke the silence and asked Jace, "So Jace. How is training going? I heard you are doing even better than you were before." This was hard for anyone to believe because Jace was already one of the best warriors. Nobody belived that there was anywhere to even improve. But to be nice he answered back, "Yes, training is very well thank you. But you should see Clary she is amazing. Have you seen her yet?" Ever since Jace had gotten the heavenly fire out of him and they had escaped from the demon dimension Edom Clary has been training with Jace and the other Lightwoods. Even though when Mayrse suggested that Clary train with them Jocelyn was hesitant she agreed to it. Luke thought that now she is so involved with the Shadowhunters there is no going back and she would need the training. Just in case of another situation like they were in before. Jocelyn says king of sarcastically, "No we haven't and I hope we won't have to. But, I'm sure she is doing great" Jace nods his head, "Yes she is and by the way thank you for dinner it was amazing" Jace and Clary get up to bring there plates out to the kitchen and when they get into the kitchen Clary grabs Jace's arm and whispers, "There is something my mom and Luke aren't telling us. I can tell" She seemed annoyed as she walked back into the dining room. But, Jace being Jace shrugged and walked back in after her.
When everyone finishes their dinner we all migrate to the living room. All of a sudden when we are all sitting down, Jocelyn and Luke in two different arm chairs and Jace and Clary cuddled onto the couch, Luke clears his throat and states, "Clary and Jace, me and Jocelyn have something to discuss with you" After Luke finishes Jace look over at Clary, who has turned a pale white color. "Mom, Luke what's wrong? What happened? Tell us, please!" Jocelyn looks at Luke and then to Clary. She seemed to be holding back tears when she says, "Clary. I got a call from Maryse the other day saying that you looked really happy down at the Institute," She looked down at the floor and let in a sniffle, "She said if you wanted to you could go and... go and live down there at the Institute" She let out a big breath like she just pulled a big boulder full of stress off of her chest. "By the angel" Jace says letting out a gasp followed by a small chuckle. "I mean Clary that would be amazing. I could see you everyday all the time. But you don't have to if you don't want to. Does Isabelle and Alec know about this?" Jocelyn and Luke shake their heads. "Oh my gosh Mom that would be amazing! I mean I could be with Jace and Izzy all the time and... Yes! Yes, I want to go and live at the institute. But, only if it's okay with you and Luke" Jocelyn looks up and trys to say, "Of course..." But Luke cuts her off, "Yes Clary of course you can. We know you would be in great hands down there" Clary screams and jumps into Jace's arms and says, "Jace we are going to live together! Can you believe it" and gives out a small high pitched scream. "Well I guess it's a plan you'll start moving in this weekend" Jace says in state of shock and excitement at the same time.
