(y/n)'s POV

i've always loved lazy days. days were Keisuke and i can just lay in bed, legs tangled as we gorge ourselves in food and watch good movies all day. even if i have to go to the gym with him the next day.

these days were almost always Sundays, because that's the one day of the week he had off from baseball. people could still practice if they wanted to, but most of the time Keisuke spent them with me, in bed, all comfy cozy in the warm duvets.

one time, Tanba came by to ask if Keisuke wanted to practice in the bullpen, but he didn't know i was there. i was hidden under the covers, when Keisuke got up to answer the knocking at the door. i had only left the bed for a bathroom break when i woke up, and to get a bite to eat, same as Keisuke.

i could hear muffled whispers at the door, and i sat up, pulling the blanket with me.

"who is it, Love?" i called, rubbing my eyes. i hadn't even bothered to put on my glasses. my (h/c) hair was a mess, and i brushed it out of my eyes.

"o-oh," Tanba exclaimed loudly. "you're busy. i'll come back later. or, better yet, i'll leave you alone for the day," he stammered out. i pulled the shoulder of my shirt back up to actually cover my shoulder. i was in one of Keisuke's shirts, and it was huge on me. but it was as comfy as ever and it smelled like him and i really enjoyed wearing his clothes.

i caught a glimpse of Tanba's red face before he shut the door. Keisuke walked back to the bed, climbing under the covers with me once more.

"you scared him away, (y/n)-chan," Keisuke said quietly, chuckling.

"it's not my fault. he should know by now that i'm always here on Sundays. he's been your friend for how long?" i questioned lightly. "not that i mind. i was getting a little cold without you beside me. you're like an oven." i snuggle into his side.

Keisuke grabs the laptop from the nightstand, wrapping an arm around me. "you're always cold," he states, powering the laptop on.

"i know," i said simply.

i cherish moments like this, because they only happen once a week and during the summer it's too hot to stay snuggled together for too long and still be comfortable. but it's the fall now, so i'll be cold all the time and Keisuke can be my personal oven.

i wouldn't mind.

oops this took a while. but here it is, finally rewritten. i'll be taking down the last one, which was a fail bc it was deleted for some unexplained reason.

anyhow, THANK YOU ALL FOR 3K READS!!!!!!!! THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!!!!!!!! i can't believe it's already at 3k reads. honestly, i forget when i started this book. one sec,,,,

the first part says august 2018 but i edited it then. the second part is february 2018, so january or february is when this was started. it's coming up on a year, and of course, i'll be doing a one year special. i'll probably mix it with the one for new years, so be prepared. even if it is like 3 months away.

i'm actually almost out of ideas for oneshots, so requests would be greatly appreciated. comment down a request and i'll get it up ASAP. requests help motivate me to write, and they are always open. unless i suddenly get a TON of requests, which will never happen, but it's nice to dream.

anyway, thanks again for 3k reads! i couldn't have done it without you guys, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

i hope you enjoyed this oneshot, and hopefully there will be more to come soon.

see you soon;

goodbye!
