"Hareem. Do you know how much I missed you. You only call us twice a week. I've so much to tell you. Well, last night Danial and I were playing ludo, I won. Let me tell you something. I cheated haha. I miss placed his game piece and I won. Oh yeah, Hashir's phone is broken. I don't know why but he was in a fight with Ali. So yeah, he threw his phone hard and it broke. There was a science exhibition in Mariah's College, She won the first price. Mama and dad were watching WB's show the eleventh hour, and Bam! The tv blew off. That's it." I chuckled softly.

That's what he used to do, telling me every week's headlines.

But what made me worry was, why did Hashir fight with Ali.

It had to be serious, because Hashir and Aliyan never really quarrelled.

And there I was trying to get over Hashir.

I sighed.

"Fakhar, I'll talk to you later. Bye." I quickly hung up my phone.

I groaned and banged my head against the wall.

Not so hard, of course.

"Someone's having hard time."

I saw Arsal standing there with 'Alice in the Wonderland' in his hands.

"Yeah. I am." I smiled.

He sat on the wall, his legs swung down. I also sat in front of him, on the wall of my balcony.

"I miss my family." I told him, honestly.

When he eyed me carefully, he was observing my features or my expressions.

I carried on.
"My home, My brothers who I always fought with. My Sister who I used to spend my time with. My whole day was spend by my Aunt yelling at my cousins. And then my Fakhar would come, questioning me random questions. Then of course, he had to taunt me about Ali Zafar being good than Atif Aslam. Just to annoy me."

I tried to remember each and everything.

"Then I would go out for School, I'd see Ali and Hashir talking to each other. Ali'd see me and came over to talk to me. Then I'd protest about how I don't wanna go school. Then Hashir would make fun me being a sleepy head."

I stopped talking. I had to be strong. I couldn't tear up.

"Yeah I miss my family." I nodded.

"Then why are you here?" He asked.

Of course, he hadn't Known my cause to come.

"To study medical. The best Medical college of Pakistan is in Lahore. That's why I came. First I thought, being away from family won't be bad. But now I realize that it's terrible."

He nodded before saying.

"Yeah. No one understands what is the value of family before they fall apart. Many cases like this come to me everyday. People want to get away from their families. But after sometimes, they beg to find some way to be with them again."

My eyes widened.

"What do you mean by cases. Are you—are you." I couldn't even speak it out.

Because, it was unbelievable.

"Yes, I am a lawyer." I laughed.

So hard.

"Oh God. Don't joke." He huffed.

"I ain't joking." I again broke into fits of laughter.

I finally managed to get myself together, I saw him looking in my direction with a faint smile and dreamy face.

"I still can't believe it." I said.

"Then don't,  whatever. Bye."

I laughed again at his offended face.
