"Ali, Do you really want me to go to a children's park at this time of day?" I asked him, irritated.
Then I corrected myself.
"Sorry, I meant Night."The guy had been pushing me forward in a Children's park at 9 'o' Clock.
"What do you want to do?" I stopped but he again grabbed my arm pulling me along with him.
"I'm not going to kill you." He said, his eyes wandering in space.
The Lights were illuminating the empty and silent park in a long row, continuously."Okay, stop right here. I'm going out, when I text you 'Start stepping', you take 20 steps forward with your eyes closed." He said and jogged away, not before patting my forearm.
Telling me to calm down, not knowing he needed to calm down. The guy was nervous as hell.
I huffed, letting fog come out of my mouth. Then I rubbed my arms up and down in order to stop shivering.
Last week of January and it was Cold as Hell.
My phone buzzed, not even bothering to see the text, I started walking.
Five steps forward.
Nothing changed.Ten steps.
Some solid stuff came into view, blurry because of fog.Fifteen steps.
It was Swing, a dark figure sat on one, not moving.Eighteen steps.
I stopped.As the figure came into my clear sight.
What is he doing here?
My hands went cold, I didn't know what to do. I fished out my cell phone from my Coat's pocket.
There were two texts from Aliyan.
Ali;
Start moving...Ali;
Sorry, I had to do this for his Happiness:(I chuckled bitterly, He didn't lift his head up. He had acknowledged my presence I saw.
It had always been him for Ali. Never ever in my entire life he did something for me.
"Hurry say it or before I leave." I demanded, furiously.
He didn't left his head.
"Not going to sit?"I walked up to him and stand in front of him.
"I don't have enough time Hashir." I tapped my foot on the grass.He stood up, his eyes was glossy.
"Why are you doing this to me?" He asked.
"What the hell I'm doing Hashir?"
"You are punishing me for what I did to you. Aren't you?"
"I'm not punishing you for anything. I have forgiven you." I told him.
"Then why are you marrying him?"
That's when my heart accelerated.
This is what everything's about?
"You should have no concern with it." I closed my eyes for a moment to keep myself calm.
"I know I shouldn't have. But I have!" He grabbed my hand and I let him.
"Hareem, I love you."
Everything happened in less than a sec when the ground underneath my feet was pulled away and I fell into a darkest hole.
Every single way of going out was disappeared, I jerked my hand away from him. In a single moment, My life was changed.
I stepped back, shaking my head.
"You can't.""But I do Hareem." He threw his hands to his sides.
"You shouldn't." I said, whispered.
Then realization hit me, all the years he made me feel vulnerable, stupid. When he made me feel I was not pretty enough to make him like me, slapped me hard in my face.
"What are you thinking? You think you can play your games with me? You think you can come anytime say you love me then ignore as if I'm the hugest problem in your life, then after many years you again come and say you love me? Newsflash Hashir Farooq, I'm not the same Hareem I used to be five years ago. I'm not that stupid girl who will fall for your tiny smile anymore. I can't give you my hand again to lead my way in the bright side and leave my hand when I'm in dark. I can't risk myself again for you. I can't trust you enough to surrender my Self to you and watch you sabotage it."
He was looking at me with so many emotions running across his face, One of them was regret.
"Why do you regret it now? Huh? Why did you even torn me apart in the first place to be in sea of regret now. Didn't you notice what you were doing? Didn't you notice how much I adored you? Didn't you notice how much I respected you? Didn't you notice how much I loved you!"
My voice cracked at the end, I blinked back the tear that were stinging my eyes.
"You knew. You knew everything. But still you didn't refrain from breaking my heart."
"I'm sorry Hareem." His head hung low in shame.
"Sorry won't fix my broken heart. It won't bring back those five years I've spent forgetting you."
"Hashir Farooq Ali Khan, it would be better if you forget about me." I said.
He Chuckled in disbelief.
"It never happened that someone fell from cliff and then jump back upward. It never happened that someone said something and then take back it's their words." He said.He inhaled sharply.
"I've fallen from cliff Hareem, I can't get back. I've said everything what I had in my heart, I can't take it back now.""You're unbelievable. I can't deal with you." I turned around and walked away.
But stopped when he said;
"I'm not saying all this so you'd not marry Arsal. I'm saying all this because I wanted to let you know."___________________________________________________________________
Mhmm... thoughts?
Do you think Hareem did right? Should Hashir have confessed or not? Is he saying truth, or is he lying? What are your thoughts about Hareem getting married to Arsal?
Let me know what you want to change in the chapter. It's not Like I'm gunna change that :p
