Uraraka's POV:

I noticed Deku looking at a note before classes started up again and curiosity just got the best of me. I put my eraser inside the desk and continued on listening to the lecture as if I hadn't noticed anything. As soon as the bell rang, I gathered my things and went out of the classroom and into the bathroom. Once everyone was gone, I went back to the classroom. I saw Todoroki standing with Deku. I couldn't see Deku's face, but Todoroki was obviously blushing. I listened carefully to their quiet conversation.
"What did you want to talk about?"
"U-Um..." I noticed Todoroki looking around.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah..I just.." It seemed like he was preparing to say something important.
"Midoriya~kun..if you don't feel the same, please just be honest with me. I-I..really like you and-"
I couldn't listen anymore. I just needed to get the eraser and get out of there. I flung open the door and was able to say something.
"S-Sorry! I just left something at my desk!" I told them, hiding my face. I felt my eyes beginning to water. I picked up my eraser and looked in their direction.
"Got it! Sorry again." I offered a smile and quickly left, shutting the door behind me.
Deku didn't say anything for a few moments. But when he spoke, it felt like my whole world was crashing down.
"T-Todoroki~kun..I like you too.."
The threats of tears no longer mattered. They just spilled out of my eyes as I turn and ran down the halls, just wanting to get away from it.
Why was I so stupid to think I had a chance? I already knew he liked-
I bumped into someone. I didn't want them to see my face, so I kept staring at the ground. I recognized who it was, though.
"Uraraka~chan, are you okay?"
"Mmhm.." I managed to respond through all of the sniffling and silent sobs.
"Do you want to go somewhere else and talk?" The girl asked. I wiped my eyes and looked up at the girl, her eyes wide with concern.
"Y-Yeah...that would be nice Tsu~chan." I answered, still wiping my eyes.
She hugged me and walked with me to a nearby park.
"Is this okay?" She asked.
"Yeah.."
"What happened?"
"D-Deku~kun.."
"Did you confess? Did he reject you?"
"N-No..."
"Then what's wrong?"
"He confessed..to Todoroki~kun.."
"I'm so sorry Uraraka~chan... Weren't you planning on confessing last Saturday?"
"Yeah..but then I wimped out. Remember?" She nodded. I was planning on confessing at the cat cafe, but then I got too nervous and just hung out with Tsu..I felt guilty, but now I'm glad I didn't say anything.
I looked over at Tsu.
"You'll find someone else. Someone better." She promised, taking my hands in hers.
"Are you sure?" I asked, still a crying mess.
"I promise." I hugged her, sobbing into her shoulder.
"I guess you're right.."

Todoroki's POV:

Yaoyorozu was right! He does like me!
I couldn't help but smile.
Midoriya was smiling as well, a small blush on his face.
"So uh, wanna walk home together?" Midoriya asked.
"That sounds good." I answered, still very softly smiling.
We both picked up our backpacks and walked out of the door. We were silent until we got out of the school.
"So..how long have you liked me?" I asked.
"O-Oh..um..I guess when you first caught me. You were like my guardian angel." He smiled brightly, still blushing a little. I could feel a soft smile creep onto my face.
"I mean, I would've caught you anyways..it's not really like I couldn't."
"Yeah..but you could've just stepped out of the way and let me fall to my cold concrete filled doom."
"But then that would make me like Bakugo...Speaking of him, why is he so mean to you?" I asked, the words spilling out of my mouth before I could catch them.
"I don't really know..He's just been like that since we were kids. I've just gotten used to it and accepted that that's just how Kacchan is." My smile formed into a frown, beginning to grow concerned.
"Why don't you stand up for yourself?"
"Because then he might hurt someone else. He doesn't mean to, it's just the only way he knows how to react." Why is Midoriya defending someone who is so awful to him? He's too kind for his own good...

It was silent again. I looked around at the ever changing scenery as we walked. I felt his hand brush against mine. Somehow, Midoriya was able to break the silence.
"How are Emmi and the other cats at the cafe?" He asked, looking up at me.
"They're doing good. Wolf and Shadow seem to be getting along much better and actually kind of work together to greet the guests..." I took a few moments of silence to breathe. "..Emmi is doing great. I'm pretty sure she misses you."
"Really?" Midoriya's eyes lit up.
"Yeah..As long as you don't take up someone's appointment time, you can always come by to say hello to the cats."
"That's allowed? Without having an appointment?"
"A few of Yaoyorozu's friends come by to visit her."
"That's really nice of your boss."
"Yeah.."

After a few more moments, we reached an apartment complex.
"Well..this is my stop. Thanks for telling me how you feel, Todoroki~kun.." I looked down at him as he hugged me.
"T-Thanks Midoriya~kun.." I put my arms around him, keeping him in the hug for a little bit longer.
"For what?"
"For telling me your feelings as well...and thanks for returning my feelings." We pulled away from the hug at the same time.
"Of course..See you tomorrow, Todoroki~kun."
"See you tomorrow.." We waved and I stayed until Midoriya had safely made it inside his apartment. I smiled softly to myself, my heart still leaping for joy.

The boy I liked likes me too.

Hey my little kittens! This is now my most popular book, ohmygosh, thank you guys so much!! Thank you for 900+ reads on this book, it really means a lot to me. (My now second most popular book is really cringy. I stopped writing it for a year and I'm probably going to discontinue it or something. I really don't have any ideas for that book...oh well..)

Anyways, this was the longest I ever took on a book for a confession, so..yeah XD.

Sorry this chapter is short, I just randomly found a good place to end the chapter. Hopefully I'll be able to write the next chapter as quickly as I wrote this one. (Maybe it'll be a little longer. I dunno. I'm just going with the flow with this book and writing down ideas that come to me. I guess that's why I enjoy writing this book so much. It doesn't have to have big events taking place one after the other, it's just whatever comes to mind. It's relaxed, chill XD)

So yeah, that's all I have to say for now, see you in the next chapter. Bye bye for now, my little kittens~.
