3rd Person POV:
The next few weeks were fairly normal for the two boys. Their friendly behaviour towards each other was beginning to draw attention from their other classmates. No one asked, but they all seemed to have their own ideas. Only Todoroki and Midoriya, Yaoyorozu, Uraraka, and Tsuyu knew what was going on.

Midoriya's POV:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. It was another Monday, just like any other. I pulled myself out of bed and got ready for the day. With a smile on my face, I walked to the kitchen.
"Good morning Izuku. You seem awfully happy for it being Monday." Mom smiled at me.
"Of course! I get to see all of my friends."
"And don't forget about the trip you have tomorrow. It says it'll be kinda cold, maybe around 10 degrees, so you should pack at least a light jacket." My mom told me. (10°C. Which is about 50°F.)
"Okay, I will. Thanks mom." I grabbed a piece of toast and headed for the door. "I'll see you after school!" Right as the door closed, I could hear my mother softly call: "Have a good day, Izuku~kun!". I happily walked with a soft skip in my step. I was lost in my own thoughts.
"Midoriya~kun." A deep voice that sounded way too similar to Todoroki's called, pulling me from my thoughts. An absolutely ungraceful scream came from my mouth as I jumped back, my heart racing. When I looked up to see who it was, my eyes got caught in theirs. They weren't the beautiful heterochromatic eyes I was suddenly longing for, but the wide brown eyes of a close friend. Who was now laughing at me.
"Uraraka~chan! You scared me!" She was still laughing. It took her a few minutes to finally calm down.
"S-Sorry Deku~kun." She giggled innocently. "I missed you at the Halloween party a few weeks ago. What even happened?"
"Oh yeah.."
"I never got the chance to ask since we've had so much to do lately."
"Yeah. I was just really tired and Yaomomo~san was kind enough to let me rest in one of her spare rooms."
"Oh..well that was nice of her." She smiled.
"Yeah.." We started walking again, thoughts racing through my head. "Are you excited for the trip tomorrow?" I asked eventually.
"Yeah! I think it'll be fun. We're staying for three days, right?"
"Yeah, I think so."
"Do you think we'll get to choose who we share a tent with, or do you think Mr. Aizawa will assign us tentmates?" She asked with a soft smile.
"He'll probably assign us tentmates. He might pair us based on our quirks, and most likely by gender as well..."
"Let's not worry about that for now!" Uraraka quickly said, probably to stop me from going into a muttering mess.
"Okay.."
The rest of the walk to school a silent. It was a comfortable silence between us, our minds on the upcoming trip we'd be taking.
"By the way, where's Todoroki~kun? Doesn't he usually walk with you?"
"How'd you guess?"
"You guys always walk into the classroom together. You're not that slick, Deku~kun. People are starting to talk.."
"..Talk? About what?"
"If you guys are dating, how long you've been together, if you guys are just really close friends- you know." She explained.
"Speaking of that, how long have you been dating?"
"O-Oh, um...well officially, we're not.."
"You guys aren't dating?" I swear I saw her eyes sparkle for a moment.
"Not yet.."
"Oh, okay."
"Why?"
"Just curious."
"Oh, okay.."
We walked towards the classroom when I paused.
"I'll see you in class, Uraraka~chan." I told her and walked to the bathroom. My eyes were feeling a little tired, so I guess I can just splash my face in the sink again. When I walked in, I froze. There he was, the boy who I have had a huge crush on since he first caught me and- wait. Why is he applying makeup?!
"U-Uhm...Todoroki~kun?" The heterochromatic boy flinched, concealer still in his hand. He looked away, his cheeks pink with embarrassment.
"O-Oh..hi Midoriya~kun.."
"..Is everything okay..?"
"Yeah.."
"Then why are you putting on makeup?" I asked, walking closer to him. He just looked down, not answering my question.
"Is everything okay at home?" My eyes were wide with worry. "I don't want you to suffer alone, Todoroki~kun..so if something is wrong, please tell me!" I grabbed his hands and looked up at his face, which had patches of purple bruises. He looked over at me, a very soft smile on his face.
"Thank you, Midoriya~kun..." His expression softened. He opened his mouth to say something, but it was cut off by the bell ringing.
"You should go to class." He said after it was quiet again. I nodded and turned to walk out before I spoke again.
"What about you?"
"I'll be there soon...and Midoriya~kun?" I turned back towards him. "I'm okay." I looked up at him with disbelief. "I promise."
I stared at him for a little while longer before turning back towards the exit. "Don't take too long, Todoroki~kun."
"I'll be there soon." He repeated.
I walked out of the bathroom and silently to class. Luckily, I managed to make it to my seat before Mr. Aizawa walked in. Shortly after Mr. Aizawa walked in, the door opened.
"You're late, Todoroki."
"I apologise, sir." He responded, bowing softly.
"Just get to your seat." Todoroki nodded and walked to his seat in silence. I looked at his face and it wasn't even obvious that he was wearing makeup. How often does he have to do that? I wondered, a frown forming on my face.
"Alright class, tomorrow is the start of our trip in the forest. I expect that you all have packed appropriately and are prepared to meet us at the school at 6am. The buses will leave at 6:20, and if you're not there, then that's too bad. Do you have any questions?"
Mina asked the question we were all probably thinking. "Are we allowed to eat on the bus?"
"As long as you don't make a mess or bother me, then I honestly don't care."
"Yes!" She pumped her fist in the air, a smile on her face.
"Also, I don't care where you sit, as long as you don't make a lot of noise. Any other questions?"
The class was silent.
"Good. Then we'll begin our lesson."

*Haven't done this in a while, so time skip brought to you by freshly toasted toast!*

The bell rang once more, dismissing us to go home. After Mr. Aizawa went over what we needed for tomorrow, we were all buzzing with excitement. Soft chatter filled the room as we all packed away our things.
"Hey, Todoroki~kun?" I called out to him as I picked up my things.
"Yeah?"
"Wanna sit together on the way to the forest?"
"Sure." He had a very soft smile on his face.
"See you tomorrow, then." I smiled as well. We smiled at each other and I walked out of the classroom.
"Hey, Deku~kun! Wait for me!" I stopped and turned to see Uraraka smiling and quickly approaching.
"Hey Uraraka~chan.."
"Hey....are you sitting with anyone on the bus?"
"Oh..yeah. I'm sitting with Todoroki~kun. Sorry Uraraka~chan."
"It's okay. I'll see you tomorrow!" She called and walked away with a skip in her step.
"Huh.." I walked out of the school, thoughts and hopes of tomorrow running through my head.
