Time skip to Christmas Eve, a few weeks after the training camp.

Third Person POV:

It was Christmas Eve and all of Class 1-A was buzzing with excitement. They were all getting ready for Yaomomo's annual Christmas party. Everyone was wearing their nicest outfit and wrapping gifts for their friends or significant other. Izuku smiled to himself as he finished wrapping Shoto's present.

Shoto's POV:

I had asked Izuku's mother about my gift idea. I was happy that his mother was able to help me figure something out. I had to leave the gift with her so that it wouldn't get ruined by my family. Has Izuku found it already or is Ms. Midoriya still keeping it hidden? I shook my thoughts away as I continued to get ready. I was staring at the black tie in the mirror, struggling to tie it. Eventually, I gave up and decided to be content with how poorly it was tied. I stepped away from the mirror and walked out of the bathroom. I looked around to see if anyone was there. No one was. I felt a slight bit of relief. I managed to leave the house without confrontation.
The walk to Izuku's apartment was fairly quiet. I listened as kids playfully chased after their parents and laughed. I felt a soft smile on my face. It was nice to have some peace. I walked up the stairs and knocked on Izuku's door. The person who answered was Ms. Midoriya.
"Oh, hello, Todoroki~kun." She smiled at me.
"Good evening, Midoriya~san." She looked behind her.
"Izuku~kun, are you almost ready?" She called out into the apartment.
"Yeah, I'll be out in a second!" He called back.
"Do you want him to open the gift now or when you two get back?" Ms. Midoriya asked me.
"Will it be fine if we wait?" I asked worriedly.
"Yeah, I'll make sure of it." She gave me a reassuring smile.
"Thank you." I saw Izuku rush out and smile at me.
"Hey." He walked up to us.
"Hey. Are you ready?" I asked.
"Yeah. Are we doing gifts now or later?"
"Later. We should probably get going now." I looked over to Ms. Midoriya.
"You two have fun." She told us with her usual smile.
"Thanks mom!" Izuku hugged his mom and stepped outside with me. Once the door was shut, Izuku hugged me tightly and placed a kiss on my cheek. He looked at me for a few moments before noticing something and frowning.
"Who tied your tie, Shoto~kun?"
"Um, me?" He smiled at me.
"Well that's no good. Let me fix it." He said and tied my tie. I took this time to look at his outfit. He was wearing a long sleeved green button up shirt with a black vest over it and some black pants.
"There, much better." He smiled up at me.
"Thanks.."
"Of course. Now, let's go." He gently grabbed my hand and led me to Yaoyorozu's home.
When we got there, Yaoyorozu was already at the door and greeting people.
"Todoroki~kun, Midoriya~kun, I'm glad you two could make it!" She called out to us.
"We are too!" Izuku responded. We let go of each other's hand and walked up to Yaoyorozu like normal people.
"Come on in, everyone's pretty much already here." She told us. We walked in and Izuku looked with wide eyes.
"Woah...it's so pretty.." He murmured.
"Yeah..they do this every year."
"They do?"
"Yeah. Yaoyorozu~san really loves decorating for holidays." I could feel a faint smile form on my face.
"That sounds fun."
"It is. I got to decorate with them a couple of years ago and turns out that decorating takes a lot more energy than I thought it would." I murmured. I walked with him as he explored in silence. There was Christmas themed music playing over a few speakers. People were dancing, some were chatting, and some were eating. Izuku looked over at me with excited eyes.
"Do you know how to dance?" He asked me.
"Um....I don't know?" I answered.
"Let's find out!" He took my hand and led me to the dance floor. Once he found the perfect spot, he stopped and faced me. He was smiling brightly as he grabbed my right hand and put his other hand on my waist. I put a hand on his shoulder and looked at his feet as he led us through some kind of dance.

It was later in the evening when slow music came on. Izuku and I had stopped dancing for a while, but it looked like he wanted to go back out there and dance.
"..do you want to dance, Izuku~kun?" I asked after a moment.
"Yes! I mean..only if you want to. I want you to have fun too."
"I have fun when I'm with you." I told him and stood up. "Come on...music waits for no one." This time, it was my turn to lead him to the dance floor. I found a good place and faced him. "Can you teach me how to slow dance?" I asked him.
"I'd love to." He smiled brightly. We spent the next few minutes smiling at each other as we gently swayed back and forth.
Eventually the music paused and Yaoyorozu's voice filled the room.
"Alright, everyone! I'd like to take group pictures, so please make sure to come see me with your friends. Thank you!" She turned the music back on and walked towards us.
"Could I steal you two for a few moments?" She asked us. Izuku looked at her and then to me.
"Sure!" He answered.
"Perfect. Come with me." I walked with them over to a wall. Yaoyorozu put us against the wall and grabbed a camera.
"Just be cute." She told us.
"That's easy for you Izuku~kun.." I murmured.
"Aw, hush you.." He playfully swatted at my face. I saw a flash of light out of the corner of my eye as we were playfully chatting.
"That's adorable." Yaoyorozu murmured as she looked at the camera. "One more picture!" She told us with a smile. I looked down at Izuku, who was standing closely beside me. He put an arm on my waist and I put an arm on his shoulder. I already knew he was smiling brightly, which put a soft smile on my face. I saw the white flash as the camera took another picture.
"Perfect! Thank you, you two."
"Of course!" Izuku was still as chipper as ever. I looked to Izuku to see where he'd go next.

Izuku's POV:

I took Shoto's hand and led him towards the kitchen. I was getting a little hungry since I didn't eat dinner yet. I looked back at him and smiled brightly.
"Are you hungry?" I asked.
"A little. Are you?"
"Yeah. I'm going the right way to the kitchen, right?"
"Yeah, I'm impressed."
"Is that a backhanded compliment, Shoto~kun?" I asked him, giving an innocent expression.
"No...it just took a while to figure out Yaoyorozu~san's house when I was younger."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah." I looked around and walked through a doorframe into the kitchen. I stopped as I noticed something above us.
"Hey, Shoto~kun?"
"Yeah?" I pointed up at the mistletoe above us. He smiled softly at me.
"Oh, Izuku~kun, I don't need mistletoe to kiss you." He said, cupping my cheek and kissing my lips. He grabbed my hand and took me out from under the mistletoe and kissed me again. "See?" He murmured, still smiling softly.
"Yeah.." I smiled up at him.
"Let's get something to eat, okay?"
"Sounds good!" We both grabbed plates that we're set out and filled it with our favourite things that were expertly cooked by Yaomomo's chefs. We ate and listened to everyone's chatter as they talked and some exchanged gifts. I looked over at Shoto and smiled. The night continued on with peace, which was surprising considering that Kacchan was here.

It was around 9pm when Shoto and I left. We wished our friends a merry Christmas and thanked Yaomomo for hosting a wonderful party. As we walked back, Shoto and I were silent and our arms were intertwined. I rested my head on his arm, feeling a little tired.
"Did you have fun?" Shoto asked me after a moment.
"Yeah, it was a lot of fun. Thanks for dancing with me tonight."
"Thanks for teaching me."
"Of course." I giggled.
We walked together, keeping the chatter quiet and about the party. It only took a few minutes to get back to my apartment. I unlocked the apartment to find all of the lights off. The apartment was dimly lit with a few candles and I noticed a neatly wrapped box on the table. I looked at Shoto in confusion.
"It's for you." He told me as he shut the door behind him. We slipped off our shoes and walked into the living room. I examined the box curiously and looked at Shoto once more.
"It's not harmful, Izuku~kun."
"Okay.." I sat down next to the table and brought the box to me. I pulled the bow off and lifted off the lid. My eyes went wide with disbelief.
"Oh my gosh, thank you so much Shoto~kun! How- Does my mom know?" I asked him as I hugged him tightly.
"Yeah...I asked her if it was okay. She knows and she's pretty excited about him too."
"Does he have a name?" I asked, letting go of him to look back at the box.
"Not yet. He's yours to name." I walked back to the box and lifted up the black and white bunny.
"Merry Christmas, Izuku~kun."
