Chapter Fourteen

Midoriya's POV:

"..Are you okay?"
"Yeah...I'll go get you some water." I watched as Todoroki stood up and silently walked out of the room. The door quietly shut and I was left alone with my thoughts. My mind went back to the conversation I just had with Todoroki, but something seemed wrong. Was one of his cheeks more pink than the other? Did something happen while I was asleep? It looked like he might've been hit by someone. But who would hit him? No one hates him enough to hit him, right? I mean...Kacchan doesn't like anyone. Except maybe for Kirishima~kun..
I looked around at the extravagant room. I wasn't surprised to see the expensive looking things all around the room. Yaomomo~san always seemed to live such a lavish lifestyle. I pulled myself out of the very comfortable bed and looked down at my costume. I once again felt silly wearing such simple garments in such a fancy room. A soft knock at the door distracted me from my thoughts. The door opened and Todoroki walked in, a glass of water in his hand. 
"Here.." He said quietly and handed me the cup.
"Thanks." I gratefully took a few sips of water before my eyes caught something that I had noticed before, his cheek. It really was a little bit more pink than the other.
"What happened while I was asleep?" I asked him, my voice laced with curiosity.
"Nothing really.." That's not really an answer, Todoroki~kun. I decided to drop it, though.
"Okay..What time is it?"
"It's about eleven. Some people are still here, but some have already gone home."
"I think I might go home then.. My mom's probably still awake and worrying about me." I smiled softly.
"Oh, okay. Do you want me to walk you home? It's not really safe to walk alone."
"What about you? You're going to have to walk alone."
"I'd walk alone either way. It would just be more pleasant if I got to spend time with you before I go home." He looked away shyly.
"Oh..okay! Let's go then!" I smiled up at him.
I took one last sip of the water before we walked out of the room. We stopped by the kitchen to drop off the glass. That's where we saw Yaomomo.
"Hey, we're heading out." Todoroki told her.
"Oh, alright. You two have a good night. And be safe on your way home." She told us with a kind smile.
"Thanks, you too Yaomomo~san!"
After we said our goodbyes to Yaomomo, we quietly walked out of her large house.
"Yaomomo~san's house is so pretty. I wonder how much time it takes to decorate it.."
"It doesn't take that long.."
"How do you know?"
"I've been there when she was decorating for Christmas when we were younger. There were a lot of people who were helping her."
"Oh..that sounds fun."
"Yeah, it was."
"Todoroki~kun, what happened while I was asleep?" I asked him again.
"Nothing really." He repeated.
"Did something happen between you and Kacchan?"
"No.."
"Then why was one of your cheeks more pink than the other? I don't think anyone else would hit you other than Kacchan." I noticed that he stopped moving and was looking away and to the right, his eyes glued to the ground. "Todoroki~kun? Is everything...okay?" It took him a moment to respond.
"Yeah...we should get you home.." He answered and continued walking. He didn't look at me.
Did I do something wrong?

After a few more minutes of silence, we made it to my home. I looked up at him and hugged him tightly. He didn't hug me back at first.
"I'm sorry if I made you upset Todoroki~kun. If things aren't okay, you can always stay here if you need to." I told him, my eyes beginning to water. I don't want you to be hurting alone even if I don't know what's going on.
He hugged me back and rested his head on my shoulder.
"Thank you Midoriya~kun." He murmured quietly.
We probably stood there hugging for a few minutes and we probably looked like idiots, but we didn't care. All I cared about was keeping him safe.
He slowly pulled away from the hug, obviously not wanting to. "I should let you go. I wouldn't want your mom worrying more than she has to."
"Yeah..Thank you again." I smiled at him.
"For what?"
"For being you." I stood on my tippy toes and gently kissed his right cheek. I leaned back and smiled at him, his face quickly turning red and small fires appearing on his left side. I giggled softly, knowing my cheeks were a bright red as well.
"Goodnight Todoroki~kun." His face was turned to the side, but I swear I saw him smile a bit.
"Goodnight Midoriya~kun.." He quietly responded.

Todoroki's POV:

I felt a smile on my face and I looked at the small angel who was dressed as a ghost. After we had said our goodbyes, I watched as he entered his apartment and stayed a bit longer in case he came out again. He didn't. I turned and walked down the street, my mind going back to what had just happened. My face was still a bright red colour.
God damnit Midoriya. Why are you so cute?

Hey my little kittens!! I really hope you guys enjoyed this chapter and thank you so much for staying with me while I slowly write XD.
I've been writing a bit more on Her Portal and making myself laugh with Kali and Conner's relationship. (If you haven't read the story, you will probably have no idea what I'm talking about. And to that, I say what a mood. XD)
Sorry this chapter is so short, I just found a good place to end it and was happy with it.
Anyways, that's all I have to say.
