Midoriya's POV:

"I've got news from the police. They've confirmed Todoroki and Kirishima's location. They're getting a rescue team together as we speak."

I felt relief wash over my body in waves and turned to see Kacchan's reaction. His expression was unreadable. I think we've realized the same thing. Mr. Aizawa won't tell us, especially not us, where they are. Hagakure might know...

I looked over at the rest of the class. They seemed relieved as well. I just hope they get here safe and soon.

"Alright, that's it. You're dismissed for lunch." Aizawa said, dismissing us. We all walked out together in a big group, talking about our hopes of Shoto and Kirishima being rescued soon.

"Deku, hold on." Kacchan said, stopping in his place. I stopped as well, curious.

"Yeah?"

"You're thinking the same thing I am, right?"

"We should let the police handle it, Kacchan. We're just kids, we aren't allowed to use our quirks."

"So?! What if the police aren't enough? Hagakure knows where they are, so she'll tell me and I'll rescue them myself!"

"It's too dangerous! Let alone illegal! Kacchan, you'd be breaking the law and risking your life and theirs!" He probably won't listen to me, so I guess I have no choice but to follow him.

"Whatever." He turned away and stomped off, following the group to lunch. I followed as well.

When we got to the lunch room, we all split off into our friend groups, getting lunch and sitting down at our usual spots. Before Shoto was Shonapped, we would usually sit together. Sometimes we'd sit with Yaomomo, Uraraka, Tsu, and Iida. But recently, Yaomomo's been sitting with Jirou.

I sat down at the table, setting my tray down. Tsu and Uraraka were chatting quietly while Iida ate his food. I decided to try and say something, my recent interaction with Kacchan still on my mind.

"Kacchan wants to go after the villains." That made everyone at the table freeze, Iida's chopsticks barely in his mouth.

"What?!" Tsu asked, clearly surprised.

"That's completely out of the question! It's too dangerous and it's also illegal!" Iida exclaimed, setting his chopsticks down.

"That's what I told him, but he won't listen to me. But what's new about that?" I muttered the last part.

"What are you going to do?" Uraraka asked.

"He won't listen to reason. Kirishima~kun means too much for Kacchan to just wait for the police to sort it out."

"Should we tell Aizawa?"

"Kacchan would get an earful for just considering it. It won't do any good." I responded, shaking my head.

"So you're just going to let him go?"

"There's nothing else I can do. I've already tried to talk him out of it. But once he's decided on something, it's almost impossible to get him to change his mind. I just wish Kirishima~kun was here to stop him. But then again, if he was here, Kacchan wouldn't have to do anything..." I said.

"Right...You're not going to follow him, are you?" Tsu asked, which caught me a little off guard.

"N-No! Like I said, it's illegal for us to use our quirks outside of the school." I responded quickly. Everyone nodded in response.

"If you do end up in danger, you know you can always message one of us. If it's late though, I can't guarantee Iida would be much help." Uraraka murmured with a smile.
