Chapter Thirty Eight

Midoriya's POV:

I peaked around Kacchan's shoulder and was surprised to see All Might sitting in a chair with his hands tied behind him. He was in his muscle form, which must've been difficult to maintain.

"All Might? What're you doing here?"

"I'm your civil- watch out Young Bakugo!" He shouted as a villain threw a knife, which went right over Kacchan's head as he ducked.

I ran into the room as soon as Kacchan moved and quickly scanned the area. My heart was beating rapidly as I ran over to All Might. I started to untie his wrists as I got the full scene. 

There were two villains. One with several knives and a big figure and a small girl. I had no idea what the girl was capable of until she kicked Kacchan, sending him flying into the wall. 

“Kacchan!” I called out, dropping the loose ropes that were previously tying All Might’s wrists. I ran over to him, keeping an eye on the villains.

“What’re you doing Shitty Nerd?! Go be useful!” He yelled, standing up. I analyzed the situation and started to charge up One For All in my legs. 

I started to run and kicked the bigger villain, knocking him to the ground. I didn’t have time to see if he was knocked out or just faking it. The small girl flung a fist at me, which I narrowly dodged. I felt the wind of her punch against my face, startling me slightly. I held my arms up, blocking my face from any punches. As I braced myself for another attack, the small girl was flung away, a loud explosion hitting her. I looked over to see Kacchan with All Might. They were both making their way to the door.

“Lets go Deku!”

“Right!” 

We ran out of the building with All Might in between us. I was surprised that All Might was able to keep up his muscle form this whole time. When we got out of the building, we stopped.

“Why’re you our civilian?” Kacchan asked harshly, turning to All Might.

“They didn’t have enough teachers with spare time, so they asked me. Only you two know about my condition, so it was safest to be your civilian.” He answered with a smile.

“Whatever. Let’s just get back.” Kacchan walked away, leaving All Might and I to follow behind him.

When we got back, there were only a few groups there. I noticed Hagakure talking to Aizawa. Even though I couldn’t hear their quiet conversation, Aizawa seemed troubled. I could hear his loud sigh, but not the comment that came after it. I walked up to the two.

“I’m sorry sir!” Hagakure apologized, bowing deeply.

“What’s going on?” I asked.

“Oh, you’re back. Well Hagakure just told me that she might know where the villains are keeping Todoroki and Kirishima.”

“Really?!”

“Yes. Don’t tell anyone until I get the police to check it out. We can’t risk anyone getting hurt. Got that?” Aizawa instructed.

“Yes sir.” Hagakure and I responded.

“Good, now I need to make a call.” Aizawa walked over to All Might, said something to him, and then walked out.

“Hey, Hagakure~chan, how did you know where the villain are?”

“Well....After I saw Todoroki and Kirishima passed out and being carried away, I decided to follow them and see if I could get some information on where they were going. I was too scared to confront them, so I just hid.” She murmured.
