Midoriya's POV:
I woke up to the sound of my All Might alarm clock. I was about to shut it off and go back to sleep before I realized that it was the first day of Hero School. I excitedly jumped out of bed only to be greeted with dizziness. I sighed and grabbed a water bottle that was sitting on my desk. After I took a sip of water, the dizziness went away and I could finally read my clock.
"Izuku, you're going to be late." My mother, Inko, called from the kitchen. I sighed softly, making my way to the bathroom to get ready.
"I'll be down in a minute!" I called back before brushing my teeth and hair. I changed into my uniform and quickly made my way to the kitchen. "Bye mom!" I said, grabbing a piece of toast. (I like bread, leave me alone XD.)
"Bye Izuku, have fun!" She called back before I shut the door. I quickly ate my toast and walked to the school. I'm so excited! I can't believe I made it into U.A., the school All Might went to! I wonder what we're going to do today? I wonder who our teacher will be... I wonder-
"Midoriya~kun!" I heard someone call my name. I turned around to see Uraraka approaching quickly.
"Hi Uraraka~chan!" I responded with a smile. Uraraka and I had met in the entrance exams and quickly became friends.
"Are you excited to see who our teacher is?" She asked.
"Of course! There are so many possibilities. It could be-" Uraraka cut me off before I could start muttering.
"Whoever it is, I bet they'll be great!" She said quickly. I nodded and walked with her inside the building and to our classroom. I opened the door, my hands shaking softly. I had good reason to be shaking. Right as I opened the door, I spotted Kacchan. I felt a wave of pure panic flood over my entire body. I quickly lowered my head, hoping he wouldn't see me. My hopes were soon crushed.
"What're you doing here?!" He demanded, quickly standing up and stomping over. He grabbed the collar of my shirt and looked right at me. "I was supposed to be the first and only one from our school! How did you even qualify?"
"S-Sorry Kacchan.." I murmured quietly.
"Alright, that's enough. Everyone sit down." I heard a voice behind me say. Kacchan let go of my shirt and grumbled all the way back to his seat. I turned around and saw a tall yellow caterpillar with a human face behind me. I yelped, jumped back and scurried to an empty seat.
Once I was safely in my seat, I looked around. I saw that Uraraka was sitting two rows away in front of a tall guy with glasses, who I knew as Iida~kun. I continued to look around and saw a boy with half red and half white hair sitting right next to me.
I wasn't able to look around anymore when the yellow caterpillar, who was supposed to be our teacher, spoke.
"Alright, I'm your teacher, Mr. Aizawa." He said.
"Eraser Head!" I whispered.
"Anyways, I don't care what you do, but don't make much noise." He said before laying down behind his desk and falling asleep. We all sat there in silent shock before looking around. Eventually, people started talking quietly. Uraraka walked up to my desk with Iida.
"Looks like our teacher isn't doing much teaching. How come he's allowed to sleep?" Uraraka asked with a soft smile.
"I think it's irresponsible! How can he teach us to be heroes if he's sleeping?" Iida said. I nodded, staring off into space a little. I didn't really pay attention to what they were saying.**Timeskip to after school, brought to you by bread**
I heard the bell ring and I quickly stood up. I put away all of my things and got ready to leave.
"Midoriya~kun, wait for me!" I heard Uraraka call. I walked over to her desk and waited for her to finish packing her things.
"I wonder if Mr. Aizawa will teach us tomorrow..." Uraraka murmured. She picked up her bag and we walked out.
"I sure hope so. I wonder what he'll be teaching, if he does decide to teach." I responded. Uraraka nodded and we started walking down the hall and into the stairs. We were about to go down the stairs when I heard someone approach. I turned around and saw that it was Kacchan.
"Out of my way Deku." He said harshly and shoved me backwards, right down the stairs. He walked right on past without a care.
"Midoriya~kun!" Uraraka called, reaching out to grab my hand. She missed and watched as I helplessly fell. I accepted my fate and braced myself for landing on the hard, cold concrete floor.
Instead of landing on something cold and hard, I hit something soft and both cold and hot.
I heard a sweet voice speak, and I swore I was in heaven.
"Are you okay?"Hey my little kittens!
(Just putting this out there, the first time I typed 'kitchen', I typed 'chicken' out of habit. I have a bad habit of calling the kitchen 'chicken'. It started as a joke, but now it's almost impossible to say kitchen. Please send help XD). Also, no one should see me when I write. When I'm really concentrating, I tend to stick my tongue out. I look pretty stupid X'D
(TRAIN SHUSH, NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR YOU AT 12AM!! PEOPLE ACTUALLY WANT TO CONCENTRATE AT THIS HOUR. well...most people are trying to sleep at this hour.)
So...this is literally the shortest chapter I've written in a loooonngggg time. But I'm really happy that I was able to write this and get out of my art block. I feel so proud and happy ^^
Anyways, thank you so much for reading this and I hope you'll come back for chapter two!
Bye bye for now my little kittens~Word Count: 1,009 Words
(So short!!)
