Chapter Eleven

Midoriya's POV:

I opened the door to my apartment, a blush still on my face. I can't believe Todoroki likes me!
"Yes!" I pump my fist in the air, a big grin spreading across my face.
"Well someone sounds excited." My mom walked into the hall, a spoon in her hand. I finally noticed the amazing smell of food that was all around the apartment.
"What are you cooking?" I asked.
"Katsudon. So why were you all excited?"
"Well...um..the person I like confessed to me today!" I spluttered out the words, knowing full well that no matter what, my mom would find out.
"Are you talking about Todoroki?" The colour drained from my face.
"H-How did you know..?"
"I had a feeling." She offered a sweet smile. "And I'll support the both of you with whatever you decide to do with your relationship."
"Thank you Mom.."
"Of course Izuku...now, could you help me in the kitchen?" She asked. I smiled.
"Yeah. I'll set down my stuff and I'll be right there!" I told her, walking down to my room. I set my stuff down on my bed and happily walked to the kitchen.
"Izuku, can you chop the green onions?"
"Yep!" (A/N: Yes, arm the Izuku with a sharp knife. What could go wrong? XD)
I grabbed a knife and walked to the cutting board, freshly rinsed green onions sitting on the board. I carefully started chopping.

By the time the katsudon was finished, I was pretty hungry. My stomach was growling loudly. When we filled out plates, I risked burning my tongue just to eat the delicious katsudon. A small smile was on my face.
After dinner, I worked in my 'Hero Analysis for the Future' notebook.
The next time I looked up, it was already 10pm.
"I guess I should go to sleep now.." I mumbled aloud and shut my notebook. I sleepily walked to my bed and flopped on the mattress, not having the energy to pull covers up. I felt sleep dragging on my conscious.
My eyes closed and I fell into a deep sleep.

Todoroki's POV:

I woke up to hear my alarm go off. I opened my eyes and laid there for a moment, letting the brightness of the morning settle on my eyes. I turned off my alarm and pulled myself out of bed. Quickly getting ready, I tried to leave the house before Endeavor woke up. The more I could avoid him, the better. As I was walking out of the door, I heard my phone chirp. I looked at the screen, confused as to who would be texting so early.
Hey Todoroki~kun! Can we meet up at the park before school?
A text from Yaoyorozu. I walked out of the house before responding.
T- Sure. I just left the house, so I'll be there soon.
Y- Perfect, see you soon.
I tucked my phone into my pocket and walked to the park.
The walk was silent, my mind wandering. Thoughts of yesterday..thoughts of Midoriya..thoughts wondering about what Yaoyorozu had to say..anything really.
Once I got to the park, I saw Yaoyorozu sitting on a bench. She had her hands neatly clasped on her lap, her body unmoving. I walked up to her.
"Hey, Yaoyorozu~san. Is everything alright?"
"Yeah, everything's alright. We're not here for me."
"We're not?" I echoed, confused.
"Of course not. We're here about you and Midoriya~kun. How did it go?"
"O-Oh..um, it was good."
"Oh? I want all of the details." She wiggled her eyebrows at me, a smile on her face. I felt myself smile as well.
"When I confessed.. Midoriya~kun said he liked me too."
"I told you! What else happened?"
"Well.. Uraraka~chan did kinda interrupt before Midoriya~kun confessed..I walked Midoriya~kun home and he hugged me when we were saying goodbye."
"Aw! So are you guys like dating now?"
"N-No..I couldn't ask him. I got nervous."
"Well at least you know he likes you, so there's nothing to be nervous about." She offered a kind smile.
"That's true..."
"So what's holding you back?"
"I don't know..."
"So then just go for it!"
"..How are you and Jirou~san?"
"I haven't had the chance to ask Kyoka~chan yet.." I could tell she was getting nervous.
"So then just take your own advice and go for it."
"I guess..but stop changing the subject!"
"Sorry."
"It's okay.. And..there was another reason why I asked you here."
"Oh?"
"I want to throw a party at my house for Halloween. Would you be okay with coming?"
"Eh..I don't do parties. "
"Midoriya~kun will most likely be there."
"Fine."
"Aw, yay! Thank you Todoroki~kun."
"We should probably start heading to school.."
"Oh, right." She stood up and brushed off invisible dust from her skirt. "Shall we?" She smiled softly at me. I responded with a soft nod and we walked to school in a comfortable silence.
When we got to the school, and classroom 1-A, I walked towards my desk. I noticed Midoriya sitting at his desk. I offered a small wave and he responded with a wave. He was smiling.
I sat down and looked up at Yaoyorozu, who was standing at the front of the class with Iida.
"Alright everyone, quite down! Yaoyorozu~san has an announcement!" Iida announced. Immediately, everyone was silent.
"Thank you Iida~kun. Alright, I'm hosting a Halloween party at my house tomorrow night. I'm going to give more information in a group chat that I'm making. I just need everyone's numbers. Please write your number and name on this piece of paper that is going to get passed around. Thank you." Yaoyorozu stepped away from the front of the classroom and handed the front row the piece of paper.
By the time Mr. Aizawa had walked in, the paper managed to make it back to Yaoyorozu. She silently tucked the paper into a folder, a soft smile on her face.
"Alright class..today I will be teaching you about.." With that, the lesson had started.
By the time the bell rang, everyone was ready to leave. The classroom was buzzing with excitement with Yaoyorozu's announcement. I was watching as everyone gathered in their friend groups and talked about something, I wasn't listening too much. I was mostly starting off into space. The thing that brought me back was an angelic and sweet voice.
"Hey Todoroki~kun." He was smiling brightly at me.
"Oh..hey Midoriya~kun."
"Are you going to Yaomomo~san's party?"
"I might.."
"Well I hope to see you there then!"
"Yeah.."
"Want to walk home together?" He asked, his eyes bright. He seemed excited about something.
"Sure." I stood up and picked up my bag. We walked out of the school together, Midoriya walking with a slight skip in his step. Once we were out of earshot of the school, he spoke.
"So many exciting things are happening all at once. It makes me happy."
"Doesn't that concern you, though?" The words spilled out of my mouth before I could stop them.
"What do you mean?" He turned to me, his head tilting softly with confusion.
"Equal and opposite reactions. For every good thing that's happening, something bad has to happen." I explained.
"I guess that's true..but I don't want to think about that!"
"Okay.." Just then, both of our phones got a notification. I looked at the screen to see a message.
(Y- Yaoyorozu, T- Todoroki, D- Deku/Midoriya, Ka- Kaminari, K- Kirishima, B- Bakugo, etc.)
Y- Is everyone here?
D- I'm here!
Ka- Me too!
K- Same here
T- Yes.
B- YES
Y- Okay..so for the party tomorrow, please dress up. It'll be so cute!
Ka- Sounds good!
D- Ok, sounds fun!
T- Okay.
B- THAT'S STUPID
K- Please Bakugo?
B- NO
Y- Anyways, it starts at 7pm. Everyone has my address, right?
Ka- sure do!
K- Yep.
D- mhm!
T- Yes.
B- YEAH
Y- Okay, that's all I have for now. See you then!
I turned off my phone and looked at Midoriya. He was smiling.
"Dressing up sounds like so much fun! Are you going to dress up Todoroki~kun?"
"Probably not."
"Aw, why not? I'm sure you'll look super cute!" I felt my face flame from the compliment and I saw Midoriya blush as well. "I-I.."
"Thank you...I bet you'll look cute too." I offered a soft smile and I swear his eyes lit up a little. So cute..
I walked up to him and we continued walking. I quietly listened as he started to ramble about anything and everything. When he started talking about something he was really passionate about, mainly All Might, his eyes would get brighter and his smile got wider. It was the cutest thing that I've ever seen and I swear that cuteness will be the death of me.

XD Sorry this took so long to write!! I've been super busy with ice skating and I'm also working on a new book. It's called Who I Really Am , so please check it out when I publish the first chapter. I'm really happy with it right now, so it would mean a lot if you guys could.
Also, thank you guys so much for 2k reads! It was just the October 11th when we reached 1k. This book is growing so much and it really makes me happy ^^ so thank you.
I'll try to have a Halloween chapter out on Halloween, but it definitely won't be a long chapter. I literally only have 2 days to write it. So wish me luck!
Anyways, I should cut this short and hurry up and write the next chapter. So bye bye for now, my little kittens~.
