Joesph's POV

"What time are they leaving for this thing anyway?" Rebbie asks. "About 10, but we're going early so Janet can take Mikey out. Why do you wanna go anyway? Not like you to be into charity work"

"No reason" she shrugs. Austin's on a camping trip with his friends this weekend so I thought I'd help out is all. Do you know who else is going?"

"Michael, Ocean and Ray. They'll be other people helping though. Your father and I are going out for the day, but we'll be helping next week" Kathrine cuts in. "It's nice of you to want to help at a homeless shelter. Maybe you could help them with the charity event next week.... speaking of which" Katheine turns to me. "Do you think we should do something special for the three of them?"

"Like what? It wasn't his birthday"

"I know, but you saw how down they all were last year. Maybe we should do something to cheer them up"

"It's the anniversary of Roberts death. Of course their gonna be upset" I point out. "Robert was Ocean's brother right?" Rebbie cuts in. "And Ray's ex?"

"I wouldn't exactly call him and ex" Kathrine replies "They were still together when Robert past. He was there when it happen... the poor boy must have been so traumatised" She sighs slightly. "What exactly happened? Did he overdose or something?"

"He was very ill. I'd rather not go into the details" Kathrine mutters. "We should all start moving soon" I cut in. "Janet's meant to be taking Mikey out at 8" I add, checking the time. "I wonder when they'll let him sleep over" Kathrine smiles. "I spoke to Michael the other day an he said the social worker thinks Janet should be allowed maybe next week or something... but nothings confirmed so don't say anything to Janet" I say that last bit sternly and her and Rebbie nod. "Speaking of which. I'll go see if she's ready" I smile and leave the kitchen.

Janet took Mikey out alone for the first time last week and she seemed really nervous, but managed ok by herself. Personally I thought it would take a few unsupervised before she'd be allowed Mikey over night, but from what I've heard from Michael and Ocean, Janet has been doing great with Mikey and always ontime for her visits and giving him his medication. By the way things are going, I think she'll be getting custody back, much sooner than we thought.

I go upstairs and knock on Janet's door and as I open it, she quickly puts her phone away. "Everything ok?"

"Mhm" She nods and smiles at me through pursed lips. "You sure? You look a little worried. Your not getting bullied again are you?" I ask concerned.

"No. I was just um... looking at some birthing videos and stuff"

"For what? After Mikey, You already know what to expect"

"I know, but not every birth is the same"

"That's true, but don't start freaking yourself out. Doctors have told you already about that. It's not good for your blood pressure" I say stern, yet softly. And I hear her phone beep. "You not gonna get that?"

"It can wait. I just need to finish getting ready" she smiles at me through pursed lips and I nod and smile back at her the same way then leave her to finish getting ready.

Janet's, been acting a little different latey and seems more nervous. I've been trying my best to talk with her, but everytime she always says that she's nervous about the baby and I know that's probably all it is, but after what happened last time I always worry about her being bullied again. The only issue I've ever had to deal with when it comes to my kids and bulling was with Michael, but with him it was because HE was the one doing the bulling at school so I'm not sure how I'm supposed to go about this with Janet because she's not like my other kids. She's sensitive and isn't good at stading up for herself like her siblings.
