Rebbie's POV

"I still can't belive you offered without even asking me" I frown at Ray. "I didn't think you'd mind. Their good kids and their always well behaved" he shrugs. "I know that, but that's not the point. How are we supposed to take care of five children and a dog?"

"It's just for one night and their not leaving until this lunch time and it's not like it's an everyday thing. Plus their always busy running around doing things for everybody else. They deserve a little break" he shrugs. "And I get that, but it's five..."

"Yeah, you said that already" he rolls his eyes and continues messing around with his phone.

"Who are you texting" I ask, walking closer and he quickly locks his phone so I can't see then sighs slightly  "I'm sorry I didn't tell you about offering to watch Mike and Ocean's kids. It's just you were really busy yesturday and I didn't think you'd mind, plus you know if it was the other way around they'd watch Eve and Austin for us"

"That's the only reason you didn't tell me? Or did you purposely not tell me because you knew I'd say no?" I ask unconvinced with his reason. "That too, but it doesn't matter now. It'll be fine" he smiles and gets up to leave.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm just gonna go do some stuff and..."

"Uh uh. You are not leaving me with all those kids and..."

"It's fine. I'll be back way before then I promise" he smiles and pecks my lips and leaves.

It's not that I have a problem with Michael and Ocean's kids and I agree with Ray that they deserve a break, It's just that it's alot to take on even for just the night and Ray didn't even bother to tell me until this morning so now I'm going to have to spend all morning getting everything set up for them.

Ray's POV

"I'm sorry about what I did. Janet saw the ring and thought I was proposing. I was going to eventually but not with..."

"I dont give a fuck about all that" I cut Ben off. "The fact is you did and you still owe me for it"

"I know, but I swear I don't have it and I can't take the ring back from Janet"

"I'm not asking you to, but that was a two thousand dollar ring. I'm not just gonna let you keep it. I need that money"

"But I don't have that kind of money. All my money's spent of bills and food for the kids and stuff. Can't we work something out?"

"Like what? I told you I need that money"

"What if I paid you back in installments?  Like $100 a month? I know it's not much, but that's all I can afford I swear" he says and I sigh heavily and nod. "I'm sorry" he mumbles nervously. "It's fine" I mutter back.

I really do need that money, but like me, Ben has kids to feed so I'm gonna have to find the money another way.

After speaking with Ben, I go to the coffee shop and Michael is already inside waiting for me.

"Hey, what took you so long?"

"I went to talk to Ben"

"Did you get your money?"

"Nope. I don't know what I'm suposed to do. I can't exactly get a bank loan. Not with my criminal record"

"What about the house? You should get a good profit when you sell it"

"I can't sell the house. That's Rebbie's house"

"But she'll be moving to Canada with you. Why doesn't she wanna sell?"
