"I still don't see what the big deal is" I shrug and Kathrine is STILL complaining about tonight"

"Of course it's a big deal? Janet's just a baby"

"She's almost 16 and is engaged with 2 kids, makes her own money and has her own apartment"

"Exactly. She's almost 16. She's still a child"

"I guess we're skipping the rest of what I just said then" I mutter to myself.

"When I got married we didn't have all these bridal showers and hen parties and stag nights and stuff. You just got married and got on with things?"

"I'm sure they'll be fine"

"Oh really? Because I've had serf on the Google web and have you seen what goes on at these things!?" She says showing me her laptop.

"It's disgusting!" she says, scrunching her face at the images.

"Um... I seriously doubt Michael and Ocean are gonna be taking Janet to a strip club, blowing up inflatable penises and doing body shot off her" I chuckle. "It's not funny!" She frowns. "If you bothered to do the research then you'd know this happens at ALL hen parties"

"First off. Michael and Ocean don't go to strip clubs or any clubs and second. Even if they did they wouldn't be doing that with Janet. Like you said. Janet is 15 so they couldn't take her to a club and get her drunk even if they wanted to. They never even said it was a hen or stag party. They just invited Janet and Ben over for the night to celebrate their engagement. The four of them will probably just order a pizza and spend the night watching movies. You really need to learn to quit worrying" I shrug. "How can I? I'm their mother. Not that they remember sometimes. You know Rebbie hasn't called in over a week? She could be dead for all we know"

"She's not dead" I roll my eyes. "Her and Ray are probably just working on their relationship"

"I still can't believe Ray never told us what was going on with him. That poor boy had been suffering and none of us even realised it" she sighs sympathetically. "He still cheated and fucked a guy though. That boys always been kinda weird if you ask me" I shrug and she's about to speak when there's a knock on the door and Janet walks in with Mikey and Tamika.

"Hey. We're here!" She smiles. "Your still ok to babysit tonight right?" She asks. "Hey, Come give grandpa a hug" I smile at the kids and Mikey runs over and hugs me and Janet walks over and does the same. "We thought we stop by and visit you guys before I go meet Michael and Ocean" she smiles. "Ben not with you?" I ask. "He's working. He's gonna meet us later"

"So your still going to stay with Michael and Ocean tonight then?" Kathrine asks. "You know you don't have to. You can always stay here if you want?"

"Thanks, but maybe another time. I'm actually excited to be staying with them tonight. I've been so busy with work and taking care of these two I've barely had a chance to hang out with them latley"

"So what are your plans for tonight?" I ask casually. "Not much. We're just gonna order a pizza and watch some movies" she shrugs. "Told you so" I turn to Kathrine. "I'm gonna try calling Rebbie again" she says and leaves the room.

As soon as Kathrine is out of sight and earshot, I turn to Janet and hand her some money. "What's this for?" She frowns confused. "So you can get some more drinks and stuff for tonight. Don't worry, just tell Michael want you want and he'll go to the store for you" I smile. "And a here's a little tip. Michael and Ocean always trying an cheat when they play poker so watch out for the signals they give each other" I whisper and tell her every sneaky trick Michael and Ocean use during poker games.
