Happy ever after? (A Sequal to love hurts?)

First meeting

Janet's POV

After spending the night at Chad's house again, I come home and I notice Rebbie has left her laptop open, in the kitchen, which is weird because she never goes to work without it and I walk over and look at the screen confused.

"Aren't you supposed to be at school?" I hear and quickly close the laptop and turn to see Rebbie standing in the  kitchen door.

"I thought you were at work. I didn't see your car in the drive"

"I had to take the day off because my car broke down an I had to take in to the shop. How come your not in school?" She asks again. "I forgot my homework" I lie. "But didn't you stay at your friend's house last night so you could work on it together?" She frowns confused. "Um... That was for a different class. Anyway... What's all this?" I ask pointing at her laptop, trying to change the conversation.

"I was gonna talk to you about that. I'm just looking at the moment, but i've been thinking about selling this place and moving for awhile now. Nothing definite yet though"

"So your moving?"

"Eventually" she shrugs "It just seems silly having to drive an hour to get to work everyday, when I could just move closer and there's some really nice schools in that area Austin would like too"

"And what about me?" I mumble and she doesn't say anything for a moment.

"That was what I was gonna talk to you about. It's gonna be harder for you to see Mikey and get to school if you move out of town and..."

"You mean your kicking me out?" I cut her off. "It's not like that" she sighs, slightly. "This was only supposed to be a temperary thing when you got out of rehab and then you were moving back with Michael and Ocean and..."

"That's what I thought untill they stole my kid from me!" I snap and she looks at me confused. "What are you talking about? they didn't steal him from you. You see him every saturday and you even stayed over the other night. What's with the attidude?"

"How do you expect me to  feel? I just come home to find im being kicked out! I'm pretty sure anybody would be pissed off!"

"I didn't kick you out of your home. I let you stay in MY home because you just got out of rehab and that was only meant to be for a few weeks. Have you even spoken to Michael about moving back yet?"

"What the point? you two have clearly already spoken and decided to kick me out on the streets"

"I haven't spoken to Michael or Ocean since you told me not to interfere and you know what!? I'm getting so sick of this ungratfull little attitude you've gotten lately. All everybody is trying to do is help you and you've done nothing but...."

"Yeah because taking custody of my son and kicking me out is really fucking helpful isn't it!?" I snap "You didn't even want him in the first...." She begins then takes a deep breath and sighs "I give up" she shrugs and walks off, before I can say anything else.

It's bad enough Michael and Ocean took custody from me and now Rebbie is kicking me out. Chad warned me that Rebbie would turn on me eventually, just like the others did, but I constatly told him he was wrong and Rebbie had my back and she wouldn't do that, but it turns out he was right as always. She doesn't want me around anymore than the rest of my family does.

After Rebbie goes upstairs, I storm out, slamming the door behind me.

"I'm really sorry for calling. I just didn't know who else to call"

"Babes, you have nothing to be sorry for" Chad says softly and wraps his arms around me. "I can't believe she'd jusy kick me out like that. I haven't even done anything wrong, I'm rarely even there and what would she have done if I hadn't looked at her laptop? was she just gonna tell me on the day she moved? I really thought everything was going ok at Rebbie's, but now I don't know what i'm supposed to do. I could speak with Michael and Ocean when I go over later but..."
