So this is the official and only final that will be posted. Enjoy it since I've actually wracked my brain for this complete conclusion and it ended up being longer that I expected.

~Third person~

Mark stared out the window absentmindedly, watching the rain smack into the glass like small bullets. He let out a gentle yet shaky sigh, his breath misting up the glass. Although things had seemingly calmed down, he was still shaking like a leaf and his heart still felt heavy in his chest.

The continuous 'beep' from the heart rate monitor was beginning to irritate him but he still hoped it would continue, knowing if it were to stop or turn into a long drawl of static, he'd know his life was lost.

He turned his head slightly to look over at the bed with red and raw eyes. He was so drained emotionally and physically. The stress was already starting to get to him but he kept himself at bay until he knew things were certain.

Sean lay under the covers of the hospital bed peacefully. His chest was raising and falling with each breath he drew which was one breath that Mark was relieved to see.

Cardiac arrest.

Sean had cardiac arrest and Mark was almost certain he had lost him. He did know what was happening when Sean's body suddenly shook while he was asleep and after a short choking gasp he went completely limp.

After wailing for a few seconds in panic he called an emergency number and was told to immediately start CPR while the ambulance raced on its way. They managed to get Sean's heart beating again but it was so weak that they had to take him to the hospital.

He was in stable condition but he wasn't waking up. All Mark could do was wait with a heavy heart and pathetically high hopes.

Sean thought he was still dreaming. One moment he was falling and crashed into the ground, the next moment he was standing in a hospital room, looming over his own unconscious body that lay lame in a bed.

He noticed Mark's presence already but when he tried desperately to attract his attention, he then realised that this was not real. It was a literal 'out of body experience'.

So he stayed idle in the room for about an hour, looking back and forth between Mark and his actual body. It was so surreal, he had never felt quite so helpless and he didn't know what he could do.

That was until he heard a small chuckle come from the door and he slowly looked over, his eyes nearly popping out of their sockets when he saw that Mark again... The nightmare one.

"How pathetic?" He growled and Sean felt goosebumps rise in his flesh at the deep hum of his voice. It seemed deeper than Mark's actual voice, and a lot more intimidating.

Sean looked up at his Mark who still sat in his chair, staring out the window. Does that mean this fake Mark wasn't real either?

"Look at him... Look at you... It's disgusting how dependent you are with one another. Crying and sulking over useless things. It makes me sick", He strolled from the door to go to the side of Sean's bed, his eyes glaring down at the unconscious figure in the cot.

"Who are you?" Sean finally spoke up and the dark eyes quickly met his own. His stare made Sean cower and forced him to recoil to look away.

"Don't you recognise the face of your own beloved? Dear Jack?" He sneered and Sean let out a huff of disturbance. This was so uncomfortable. So bizarre. He wanted out.

"You're not him, Mark is right there. You're not real, this is just a dream", Sean shook his head and 'Mark' let out a small chuckle and started to walk around the bed to approach Sean's seated position on the floor.
