Regina:
Dad pulled up to our new house and parked in our new driveway. Everyone got out of the car and I followed suit. My younger Sister was practically skipping to the front door whereas I just trailed behind everyone else.
Mum pulled out the keys from her purse and unlocked the door. My Sister rushed inside and my Mum ran in after her, shouting at her to take her shoes off. Me and Dad take our shoes off at the door before we properly step into the house.
"New home. Fresh start." Dad says, placing his hand onto my shoulder. I nod and send him a convincing smile.
"Sure, Dad." I say and he nods, kissing my forehead before chasing after Mum and Quinn. I sigh and decide to explore a bit, considering that this house is going to be my home for at least the next few years.
I found myself in the living room first. It was nice, very quaint. Mum did a good job with the design and furnishings, but, I sure do miss our old sofa, though.

I left the room and turned right, entering a different room; the kitchen. I actually did like the decor in here. The black and white colours really set the room off and definitely complemented each other.

As I came out of the kitchen, my family came into view. Mum smiled when she saw me and I tried to smile back... Tried.
"Sweetie, do you wanna see your room? It's straight upstairs." She tells me and I nod slowly. Dad places his arm around Mum's shoulders and steps forward.
