Vamp (Harry Styles) COMPLETED

Chapter Six; New Chapter ---->

Regina:

I pull away from the kiss, needing air. I open my eyes and the first thing that I see is Harry's smiling face. I smile back at him shyly and he clears his throat.

"That was unexpected." He says and I nod slowly. It was unexpected, but, I enjoyed it. I hope that he did too. "What are you thinking?" He asks, his arms still wrapped around my waist and mine are on either side of his arms.

"How much I enjoyed our kiss. Also that this is where I want to be." I tell him honestly and he smiles, two gorgeous dimples denting his cheeks.

"Good, because I was just thinking the same thing." He says and leans down to kiss me again. I happily accept.

However, our moment is cut short by Niall bursting into the room.

"Harry! The castle is under attack!" He exclaims, his eyes wide.

I tighten my arms around Harry, now scared.

"Regina, look at me. Lacey is going to take you somewhere safe. You'll be fine, I promise. I'll come and get you as soon as I've sorted this out." He calmly tells me and I nod. Lacey then appears in the doorway, looking panicked. Harry quickly kisses my lips before disappearing out of the room.

Be safe, Harry.

The Safe Room.

Lacey said that The Safe Room has recently been refurbished. You can't hear anything or see anything of the outside. Just four walls.

I'm worried about Harry. It's been quite a while since Lacey and I got to The Safe Room. She told me to distract myself by watching television, but, how can I? The person that I'm just starting to warm up to could be getting hurt or killed right now! I couldn't possibly concentrate on a programme or movie.

Suddenly, the door to the room opens and Liam bursts inside. I jump up from the sofa while Lacey speeds over to Liam using inhuman speed. Dread filled my stomach when Liam looks up at me, his eyes showing an uncomfortable emotion.

"He's hurt, isn't he?" I question him and he stiffly nods and my heart starts to hurt. What's going on with me? "Take me to him." I demand softly and Liam nods and gestures for me to follow him. Lacey and I follow Liam all the way to a part of the castle that I haven't yet seen.

WEST HOSPITAL WING

Harry is hurt so bad that he had to be taken to the hospital part of the castle? What should I expect when I see him? I continue to follow Liam all the way through the Wing until we reach a door.

"We aren't allowed inside, only his mate and blood realities. Go ahead." Liam says after turning to me. I nod and watch as Lacey leads him further down the Wing. I suck in a huge breath and open the door.

Oh, God!

He laid on a bed, different coloured wires were attached to different parts of his body, his face was paler than usual and looked sunken in. The only good that I could see was that he didn't have a breathing tube stuck down his throat. That meant that he could breathe on his own.

The door behind me opened and I saw Niall stepped inside. He sent me a small smile and closed the door. He looked at Harry before casting his eyes to me.

"I was told that you'd be here. There's something that you need to know." He says and I frown, turning my eyes to him. "Harry has sustained a minor head injury. The good news is that he will wake up eventually. The bad news is-"

"Nobody knows when." I say, finishing Niall's sentence. What will happen without Harry here? Who will protect me? Who will help me understand my role? Who will understand me?

"There's something else." Niall says and I wait for him to speak. "Since the King is out of action for a while and he has already found his mate... You're in charge of this Kingdom until Harry wakes up." He says and my eyes widen.
