Ashton:

"We're never gonna finish this way, ya know," Ashton sighs. "I don't know what you mean," you say, grinning up at Ashton as he stands atop a ladder, reaching the highest part of the master bedroom walls. "Have you painted at all?" he asks with a laugh. "I just took a break to take some pictures," you admit with a shrug. Ashton rolls his eyes, turning his attention back to painting, and you pull your phone out again to snap a picture of Ashton working. "Why are you taking pictures?" Ashton asks, blushing lightly at the attention. "You're cute when you're working," you inform your boyfriend. "Am I?" he asks, climbing down the ladder to meet you on the ground. You nod, trying not to stare at his shirtless and paint-covered figure. "You're cute when you're not getting any work done," Ashton returns as he grabs your hips and pulls you toward him. "Am I?" you respond as your cheeks redden. Ashton nods before leaning in, his lips meeting yours. "You taste like paint," you mumble against his lips.

Luke:

"Okay, I ordered takeout since we can't really start cooking in here yet," Luke informs you as he reenters the living room, "And I - what are you doing?" He stops in his tracks and watches you curiously. "I'm painting, obviously," you respond from where you sit cross legged facing the wall. "Without a brush?" Luke asks, moving toward you. "I'm finger painting," you inform him with a wide grin. Laughing, Luke shakes his head. "You're finger painting?" he repeats. You nod as you continue drawing pictures on the wall with the green paint. "What are you drawing?" Luke asks as he crouches down beside you. "Flowers," you answer distractedly. "You realize that we'll cover all of this up when we finish painting, right?" Luke asks. You nod and Luke smiles at your childish enjoyment for finger painting. "Can I draw?" Luke asks. You nod and Luke dips his finger in the open can of paint by your side. You stop to watch your boyfriend's careful painting. "Don't watch," Luke insists, making you turn away as he works. "Done!" he says after a few seconds. You turn back to see Luke smiling proudly at his painting. 'Luke and Y/n forever' he had written out next to a simple painting of two stick figures holding hands. "You're too cute," you laugh, kissing your childish boyfriend.

Calum:

Absorbed in painting your new kitchen, you take no notice of Calum sneaking up on you until his paint covered hands grab your sides. You scream, whirling around to find your grinning boyfriend with blue paint covering his hands. "Calum!" you scold, looking at the large blue hand prints he left on your sides. "What?" Calum asks with a sweet smile. "Nothing," you say innocently. Calum sends you a questioning glance and you quickly fling your paintbrush toward him, splattering his face with flecks of blue. "Eugh!" he groans, wiping at his face only to get more paint from his hands onto his face. Calum gives you a hurt glare and you laugh proudly. "Don't mess with me, Hood," you say, pointing your paintbrush at him as a warning, "Now back to work." "Okay," Calum sighs, "But first I need a kiss." Your eyes widen when Calum runs toward you, puckering his lips and reaching for you. He grabs you and kisses all over your face, each kiss leaving a blue smudge of paint behind. "Calum!" you squeal, "Calum! Stop!" "I just love you so much!" Calum laughs as he continues to attack you with kisses.

Michael:

"Isn't it time for a break?" Michael whines as he drags his paint brush absentmindedly against the wall. "We took a break ten minutes ago," you remind him, "And we have to get the master bedroom done today." "Painting is so much work," Michael groans, slapping his brush repeatedly in the same already-painted spot. "Well, technically you aren't even painting," you correct, "You're kind of just sitting there." "I'm tired," Michael explains, dropping his paint brush and lying on the floor. He shuts his eyes and you scoot toward him silently. You dip your fingers in the dark red paint and quickly slide them across your boyfriend's face. Michael splutters and sits up instantly. "Did you just paint my face?" he asks in disbelief, reaching up and wiping at his face. "You did!" he answers for himself when he sees the paint now on his hands. "Come here," he commands, grabbing your arm and pulling you on top of him. Michael wipes the paint from his face and quickly rubs it onto yours. "We're making a mess," you laugh, wiping paint on Michael's neck. "We look like a murder scene," Michael points out, making you laugh even harder.
