Ashton:
"Wanna do something fun?" Ashton asked as he plopped beside you on the couch. "Mhm," you answered, not looking up from the book in your hands. "What are you reading?" your husband inquired, peering at the cover. "Is that another pregnancy book?" he laughed, peering over the book to meet your eyes. "No, this one's about the baby's first year," you informed him before shutting the book, knowing there's no chance you'll be able to read with Ashton questioning you. "Are you sure you're not pregnant?" Ashton asked skeptically as he remembered the two pregnancy books you read last week. "I'm not pregnant," you assured him with a patient smile. "Then why all the baby information?" he questioned. "In case we decide to try to have a baby," you answered shyly. "Do you want to try to have a baby?" he asked quietly, bracing himself for any answer. "You know I want a baby," you sighed, tired of having this same conversation that always ended in you two deciding to wait. "I know," Ashton said thoughtfully, "I just don't know if we're ready." "When are we gonna be ready then?" you asked tiredly. "I dunno," Ashton admitted, "I'm scared. What if something were to go wrong? Or what if I'm a bad dad?" "You'd be a great dad," you assured him confidently, "And I guess something going wrong is always a risk, but life is about risks right?" "Yeah," Ashton agreed with a hesitant nod, "I guess you're right." "I always am," you teased, smirking. "Well, then it's decided!" Ashton announced, getting to his feet and pulling you up beside him, "We're making a baby!" "We are?" you asked in disbelief. "We are," Ashton confirmed, laughing as he leaned down to kiss you in celebration.
Luke:
Luke watched you in amusement as you entirely ignored him, focused on making faces at the baby seated at the table behind him. "This is the last time I take you to a fancy restaurant," Luke joked finally. You froze mid-monkey face and reverted to normal. "What do you mean?" you asked with a guilty grin. "You look like an idiot," Luke pointed out, unable to keep from laughing. "Well, then it sucks that you're stuck with an idiot wife forever," you stated, pointing at the shiny diamond on your ring finger. Luke rolled his eyes and you returned to making faces at the baby. "I can't help it that babies are so cute and I don't have one of my own for making faces," you mentioned pointedly. "We've been over this," Luke sighed, "We're spending the next year travelling and touring. You can't do that if you're pregnant!" "Then I don't want to tour with you," you decided in desperation, "I'll stay home." "You're not staying home and going through your pregnancy and the birth of our child by yourself," Luke said, shaking his head. "How long do I have to wait, Luke?" you whimpered, "How many years are you touring? I want you to live your dream, but I want a family, too!" "And you'll get one!" Luke assured you immediately, "We're still young! We have plenty of time for careers and kids." "I don't want to be an old mom," you admitted, "I wanna be the cute, young, trendy mom!" "Y/n," Luke sighed, "A baby is just not a possibility right now, okay?" You could tell that he was getting tired of this discussion, and you were, too. "Fine," you responded shortly, not wanting to argue in the nice restaurant anymore. "Fine," Luke repeated with a nod. The two of you lapsed into a strained silence, and not even the adorable baby from the table over could raise your spirits.
Calum:
You wandered through the department store, seemingly aimless, but you knew exactly where you were leading Calum. "Look at these little shoes!" you pointed out soon enough, drawing your husband's attention to the baby shoes. "I can't believe feet are ever this small," you cooed as you held the miniature converse for Calum to see. "Those are cute," he agreed doubtfully. "They're adorable," you insisted, picking up another pair. "Y/n, do you want a baby?" Calum asked with a sigh. "Me? A baby? I hadn't thought about it," you answered with a shrug, but Calum could tell when you were lying. "Your hints haven't exactly been subtle," he chuckled, taking the shoes from your hand and examining them for himself. "Oh," you replied, biting your lip, "Well, yeah, but I understand if you wanna wait." "Another fifty years and I should be ready," Calum joked. You punched his arm and he laughed, bringing a smile out of you that you could not resist. "I'm just kidding," he offered, "I'm ready when you are." "Really?" you asked, your eyes lighting up. "Why wait?" he reasoned with a shrug. "Oh, good!" you cheered, taking his hand and pulling him toward the exit. "Come on," you urged, "I saw a book yesterday with tips for pregnancy, but there was only one left." "Y/n, wait!" Calum called out, but you didn't listen. It was the alarm that finally halted you. "I still have the shoes," Calum sighed, showing you the pair of baby converse. "Oh," you responded sheepishly as you watched a security guard hurry toward you, "I'll explain everything."
Michael:
"Baby!" your boyfriend, Michael, announced, pulling you over to the woman who appeared to be the chaperon of a group of young fans talking to 5SOS. "She's so precious," Michael whispered, examining the one-year-old as the one-year-old examined Michael and his brightly colored hair. "Hi, baby," Michael greeted, waving to the smiling child. She laughed, reaching up for his hair and making her mother laugh as well. "Do you want to hold her?" the mother offered. "Of course," Michael answered, carefully whisking the baby away. "Look at her," he murmured, turning her toward you. "Look at her tiny hands!" he urged as you let her grab your finger. "And her baby hair!" he added with excitement. "I see it. I see it," you confirmed with a laugh. "Oh, honey, no!" the mother cried, watching one of the children in her care attempt to climb Luke. "I'll be one second," she added apologetically before hurrying to rescue Luke. Michael chuckled as he observed the children. "Her eyes are so blue," you noticed in awe, your full attention on the baby in Michael's arms, "And her feet are so teeny!" You tickled the baby's feet and she giggled. "I want one," he stated, suddenly serious. "You want what?" you asked, confused. "I want a baby!" Michael clarified in exasperation, holding the baby out for you to see. "Please can we have a baby?" he pleaded, looking adorably pathetic with his pouted lips and wide eyes. "Michael, we aren't ready for a baby," you pointed out with a nervous tittle, "And I don't want to have a baby before I'm married." "Fine," he sighed, "I'll marry you and then I'll put a baby in you. Deal?" "We can talk about this later," you insisted, turning your attention back to the baby at hand as you saw the mother approaching.
