—How did you guys sleep? -Scott said- I knocked on your door but you didn't opened, I guess you were asleep... or busy, who knows -they laughed, I'm pretty sure my cheeks were red-

—We were asleep, in fact -Chris said jokingly-

His humor today was way better and extrovert than usual, I guess this is what happens when he gets laid

—You guys passed out last night! -I said trying to change the subject-

—I bet that's why you two left -Carly said-

—Yeah, 'cause I was throwing up -he said with a sassy tone- turns out that when I returned to the room, Carly and Shanna were asleep and Chris & you nowhere to be found -he raised one eyebrow-

—We thought you left -Chris said-

—Anyways, how did you sleep last night? -Lisa asked-

—Pretty well, I woke up fine but Chris said he had a headache

—I still do -he said-

—I didn't give you any pajamas -Shanna told me- how did you sleep? Because sleeping in jeans suck

Well, I slept naked which is indeed very comfy

—I didn't sleep with the jeans, Chris gave me a large shirt so I slept in it

—Hmm... interesting -Scott added-

—You guys, stop, I feel like I'm being interrogated -I said, ashamed, Chris looked at me and laughed- don't you laugh! -I pointed at him with my index finger, he shoved his hands in the air in sign of surrender-

—You woke up pretty goofy, didn't you? -Lisa said smiling-

—I did, mama -Chris said- I just woke up in a good mood, I slept well, Gabriela is too comfy to sleep with -Scott and Shanna almost choked at Chris' words, I rolled my eyes-

—Don't misunderstand, he's talking about sleeping, anything else! -I say more ashamed than ever- Lisa, your children are crazy -she nods-

—I've been thinking the same over the past years -we laughed-

Chris' phone started to ring again, all eyes flew to him, he saw the screen and I realized he got tense

—I'll be right back -he said without looking at us and left, all eyes flew on me-

—What? -I laughed-

—Nothing -Carly said jokingly-

I picked up the phone, sighing... I was starting to feel guilty

—Jenny -I said without hesitation-

—Babe, finally -she chuckled- I've been calling you since early

—Yeah, I just checked my phone. So tell me, how do you feel?

—Pretty well, I woke up feeling better, my mom's over at the house, she said she'll take care of me

—That's great, it means you won't be alone

I really wasn't in the mood of talking to her, not after last night

—Yup. So, when are you coming home?

—Actually, I was planning to stay here longer, till new years might be

—WHAT?! -she screamed- are you being serious right now?

—I am... I mean, you get to spend time with your family and I get to spend time with mine, I feel like it's a good idea since we're always together but apart from our loved ones

—But you're my loved one and I want to spend New Years with you

—I want to spend time with my family, they're gonna stay here and they told me to stay too

—Well, I could fly to Boston to meet you

—Chris, what the fuck? -I could hear her voice cracking-

I in fact did know. Last nights events made me realize that If I still loved Jenny the way I thought I did, I wouldn't have cheated on her, not even if it was only sex

I stood there for some seconds trying to think if it was a good idea to call her back, but it sure wasn't, so I made my way back to where my family and Gabriela were

—There he is! The man we were talking about -Scott said and I smirked-

—We were talking about how you're old enough and still don't have any kids. You should make mom a granny -Carly said-

—Me? Why me? -he scoffed- For all I know is that my mom had four children, four. Any of you could make her a grandma as well.

—Well, it won't be me -Scott said and we all laughed-

—We're sure you won't -Shanna said jokingly-

—What? Scott? You don't want kids? -Gabriela asked gasping-

—Nah! I'm not into that parent thing, I'm more into spending eternity with my beloved one while sipping on some Margaritas, tanning in a resort right by the beach

—You sassy thing -Gabriela said-

—But you could make my mom granny, Gabriela. -Scott clapped back-

—ME? -her eyes widened, I laughed and so did my mom-

—Yeah, you could -Lisa said- don't you look at this bombshell I have as son? -she pointed at me, I rolled my eyes-

—That won't be happening any time soon -I said while Gabriela was looking at me- I'm not sure if I want kids even though I love them

—And what about Jenny, does she wants kids? -Carly said-

We all turned to her, she then widened her eyes and mumbled a "fuck". My siblings and my mom's eyes were back and forth between Gabriela and I, but she only looked at me trying to dissimulate a surprised look, her eyebrow were narrowed
