I don't even know why, but Chris had the day off – as miraculous as it might sound. And while he probably wanted to spend all day in bed, I was the complete opposite.

—Baby...? -I get his attention-

It's barely 8am and our daughter is asleep in the middle of our bed, she had woken up at 6am to be breastfed and went back to sleep. I thought Christopher could've woken up around 10am or so, but by the time daylight came; he woke up.

—Yeah? -he looks to me, his eyes squinting probably because he's sleepy-

—I want to go out and show Sara the city, at least, the parts I know.

He says nothing but pulls me into a cuddle, turning my back to him as he spoons me. His right hand lands on my boob and he squeezes it, making me giggle a bit. I could feel his breathing on my neck.

—Are you tired? -I ask him-

—Why? Do you have something on your mind?

—Yeah. If you don't want to go out, maybe you could stay in with Elle.

I hear him snicker before answering, pulling me even closer to him.

—I meant short term plans.

Oh, I see where you're headed. -I smirk- but nope.

Back to the last time I went to the doctor, he had advised me to use the intrauterine device because having a baby comes with other side effects, like forgetting things due to the amount of stress. And neither Chris and I wanted a baby, so I went for the IUD, but as for now, we haven't done anything since we were on bad terms.

—Baby -he pouts, making me laugh- why not? we can already

—I know we can, and trust me, I want, but... -I look to our daughter peacefully sleeping and he notices- I couldn't do it with Elle here and I know if we leave this bed, she'll wake up in no time

—Yes, I understand you. I think I'd feel guilty, somehow. Maybe later or tomorrow...?

I try to avoid laughing, but it's impossible, so I cover my mouth with my hands trying not to make too much sound, Christopher furrows his eyebrows confused and tilts his head to the side.

—What is it?

His question made me laugh even more, to the point I am crying of laughter. As my stomach starts to hurt, my laugh ceases, I wipe away the tears, recovering my breathing pace.

—Look at us, Chris, we're actually scheduling sex. We're not even 40 yet but we're scheduling sex -I giggle, his furrowed eyebrows fades, his lips turning into a smile-

—Fuck, we're old. Parents and scheduling sex, what else do we need to do?

—Probably falling asleep everywhere, and we still need to embarrass Elle when picking her up somewhere

—I'm adding that to the list -he winks at me and I smile back- but now, what do you want to do today?

—Nothing in specific, show Sara around, I know she's eager to see the city -I shrug- but if you're too tired, maybe you could stay with Elle?

—Wow, you don't want me in your plans? -he fakes a pout and I shake my head-

—No, it's not that, I was figuring you'd be tired of all the filming and would like a day off to rest. I'd love if you come with us, but if you're really tired, I wouldn't like to take you out of bed.
