—Good morning -I hear Gabbie's voice say- I'm so sad I gotta work today, but I'll be here as soon as possible

—Work? -I ask, she nods- morning babe

I start to stand up from the bed, lazily, wanting to stay here the whole day to chill with my girlfriend and our families, but obviously, I wasn't able to

—I'll end my shift at 6PM, take an Uber to the hotel where my family is staying and then, I'll come back here. All of us, is it okay?

—Of course, yeah.

—Oh, and Chris?

—Mhm? -I ask without looking at her, focusing on putting on my shoes-

—If we weren't running up so late, I'd give you the best "thank you" sex

I laugh at her silliness, even though I know she was actually meaning it too... And that I was looking forward to receive it

—It can wait till the night, right?

—You'll be rewarded, sir -she laughs-

I quickly walk to the bathroom to finish every task I had to do there, once I'm already dressed up, I walk downstairs where my siblings and girlfriend are talking at the kitchen. Gabbie's making breakfast while Carly, Shanna and Scott just talk

—Morning -I smile, happily-

—Aw, Christard -Carly says with a childish voice- I gotta admit I've missed you!

—You'll make me cry -I reply with a hint of sassiness to it, making her giggle-

—You're having breakfast with us, babe? -Gabbie asks expectant-

—Oh, actually, no, I—um kind of am running late, I'll just grab some coffee to go -I grab my cup and pour some black coffee- this looks like the coffee you like -I giggle-

—Indeed, that's some good coffee you got there -she chuckles while flipping some eggs-

—Where are you heading? -Scott asks me-

—To the studios, why? -I look up to him-

—These girls are talking about some girly stuff and I don't want to be a part of it, could I tag along with you? I won't bother too much

I enjoyed taking my family and my girlfriend with me, but sometimes it made me feel a little bit uncomfortable. I consider myself very professional and taking your family to work whenever you like to isn't that much of a professional thing to do, yet, I haven't seen my brother in a while and I won't let him succumb himself to a torture chamber with the girls

—Are you ready? -I ask just to make sure, he seemed to be already bath and all-

—I was born ready -he jokes-

—Then let's go -I motion him to leave the kitchen, I walk to Gabbie to quickly peck her lips- let me know as soon as you get here, I'll try to make everything as perfect as I can to get home to you -I speak lowly-

—I'll do it, babe. Take care—don't forget to eat breakfast!

I smile and nod, starting to walk past her

—See you later, ladies -I wave at my sisters, once I walk out of the kitchen I hear the three women mumbling about god knows what-

Scott was already next to my SUV waiting for me to unlock it, as I do, we both hop into the car. The ride was quiet, he'd be looking outside the window and I was deep into my thoughts as usual

—Now the two families meeting each other -he burst my bubble-

—Excuse me? -I ask, not being able to well what he said-
