—We're here! -I hear Carly scream-

My body then became a nervous wreck, and I also thanked they already arrived cause I was starving. Carly and Gabbie enter, Carly hugged me and Gabbie just stood there as if she was wondering what to do, I went to her and gave her a quick hug, she whispered a "hi"

—How you've been brotha? When do you have to leave again? -Carly asks-

—I've been good and I'll have to leave in January... You know, for Avengers 4 -I turn to see Gabriela remembering she's a fan- when do you have to work, Gabbie? I could take you L.A with me so you can finally meet the studios and the cast

—Oh! No no, don't worry about that, I won't be able to go, Annie opens the bakery again on January 1st.

—I guess I'll find a way to steal you from Annie -she blushes-

I'm not helping her, stop Chris.

—So, how was... L.A?

Are you seriously going to ask me about L.A, Gabriela?

—It was normal, L.A's a chaos as usual but I still like it there

—My sister has always wanted to go there -she tells me- I'm pretty sure someday I'll take her

—I'm sure you will -she just mumbles a "Yeah" and turns to face Scott-

—Scottie-Dottie, some bird told me you have something to tell us -he chuckles-

—I can already imagine that birds name. And I do have something to tell you guys, let's just wait for dinner

—Fine, but whatever's going on, I want to be one bridesmaid -Gabbie says and we all laugh- and what about you Shanna? You haven't visited me

—Because I'm feeling jealous -she jokes- all you do is hanging out with Carly while I'm here... alone, all by myself, without any friends left at this city. But what can I do?

—I propose a girl's night out -Gabriela says after laughing-

—Oh no, zero girl's night out. What about Scott and I? Are we invisible? -I joke-

—Guess we'll have to change those plans to: girl's night out with Scott and Chris tagging along -Carly says-

—Well, I'm cool with it -Gabriela shrugs- where's your mom and dad guys? I haven't seen them yet.

—Mom's probably at the kitchen and my dad, I bet my dad is watching National Geographic as we speak -Scott laughs- I'm gonna let my mom know you're here, I'm starving

—So am I -I confess-

—The lateness wasn't my fault, in my defense -Carly puts her hands up in the air making Gabriela laugh-

—You're a traitor, I would never betray you that way! We will split teams now, I want the divorce!

—You could partner up with Chris -Shanna says with a smirk-

And I could notice Gabriela getting tense and awkward but trying to go along with it

—Yeah, yeah. I will

I'm pretty sure that Shanna nor Scott know what happened between us

—So... umm, since we're all gathered together -Scott clears his throat- I wanted to tell you guys something important

—Go ahead sweetie -my mom motions him-

—Okay, so, I met this guy like 2 weeks after I got here and we've been talking and seeing each other for a bit but now we've decided to kind of... settle down.

By this time, all of our faces were lightened, all of us smiling, this is like the first time Scott settles with anybody

—I'm glad for you, son -my dad smiles at him- as long as he makes you happy, then I'm happy -Scott smiles back-

—We have to meet him -I say-

—You all will meet him when it's time to, but for now, I really wanted you to know that I was with someone

—And what's his name? -Gabriela asks-

—His name's Shawn, Shawn Jones

—Is he cute? I might stole him from you -Shanna jokes-

—You can't, gurl! -he laughs- find yourself a man

—Speaking about finding a man -my mom starts speaking, we all scoff-

—There she goes againnn! -Carly says making my mom laugh-

—What? But honey! It's true -my dad laughs too- by this time your father and I thought we would be taking care of our grandchildren, but turns out none of you have given us any grandchildren yet

—So, the other day we were discussing -my dad finishes what my mom was saying- does any of you want kids? I mean, when we were your age we already had you all, so we were like "what about if they don't want kids and we've been putting pressure on them?"

—Yeah -my mom turns to look at my father- because we never want you guys to do something that doesn't make you happy over someone else's wish

—Soo cute -Gabriela squeals causing us all to look at her and laugh- Oh, I thought out loud -she laughs and blushes- but for real, you two are the cutest thing with your children -she tells my parents- I hope to be as good as you when I have my own

—Well, I'm sure you will -my mom encourages her-

—Thanks -she smiles down, looking at her fingers- oh but let's not change the subject, sorry to interrupt, you guys answer your parents

—Well, I do want kids, just not right now  -I shrug- It's not the right time, I don't have a clearer schedule and I really want to see my child grow, not over some FaceTime because their dad is busy filming something

—Not that I'm calling you old but the train of life doesn't stop for anybody -my dad says, making me think about his words more than usual-

—I'm gonna be everyone else's aunt. -Carly says- I don't have mom material, I don't see myself taking care of a tiny human... It's just not my thing so... Don't expect me to have kids because I probably won't have any

—And that's okay, we truly respect your decision -My dad speaks-

I truly have to thank life for giving me these two as parents, they're the most kind, giving and respectful people I know.

—Meanwhile, I don't know what could happen to me -Shanna speaks up- I'd like to be a mom but it's not like my first priority nor goal. If I get pregnant, good, if I don't, it's good too

—And what about you, Scott? -I ask-

—Well, I can't get pregnant so -he says making us all laugh-

—Idiot, you know what I mean! -I laugh- I mean, would you like to adopt?

—Yeah, I, I don't know -he looks at me- I mean, the idea of raising a kid beside the love of my life it's pretty cute -he gets in his goofiness again and laughs- we're all pretty sure you're getting to experience that with Gabriela -I automatically turn to look at her, her cheeks are red-

—You guys, stop -she laughs a bit-

—What? Gurrrrl, in this house we stan you two! -Scott says, making me roll my eyes-
