I try to open my eyes but the light bothers me way too much, so I have to make a bigger effort—blink three times and finally see the shadows standing beside me. I'm laying down on a bed, and when I finally open my eyes, I see my boyfriend's family looking at me. I still feel dizzy, my head is about to explode and my body feels like it has been crushed by a car.

—Hey... -Chris says in a soft voice, gaining my attention- are you alright? -his cold hand caresses my forehead, removing some hairs from my face-

—Why are you so cold? -it's the only thing that scapes my lips, and I close my eyes again, feeling tired-

—I think it's because I'm nervous -he giggles- but the important thing here is how you're feeling

I open my eyes again doing the bare minimum, all I want to do right now is sleep.

—Honey, you blacked out -Lisa's voice fills my ears- and we're pretty worried. I know you must be tired, or sleepy, but Chris' about to rip his hair off if you don't say anything...

—I'm just tired -I sigh without opening my eyes- is this bad? What happened to me?

—I don't know if it's bad, but I do know it's not normal -Chris' older sister responds-

I feel my baby's movement in my belly, assuring me she's alright—and to be honest, that's what really scared me.

—She's moving -I inform- the baby, so no worries. Can I go to sleep?

—Nope! -Robert says, making me feel somehow scolded- open your eyes, young lady, you must be feeling tired, but we need to know you're ok.

After seconds of thinking, I open my eyes, looking at them staring at me. Scott looks petrified.

—What do you feel? -my boyfriend asks me-

I swallow, feeling my lips and throat dry

—Hmm, I, my body hurts, I have this massive headache and I'm sleepy. Oh, and I'm still dizzy.

—Did you have any food? -Lisa's face shows nothing but concern-

—I did, I'm eating as healthy as I can. I'm not gonna lie and say that I don't have junk food from time to time, but it's not like my diet is based on bad fats

—Should we get you to an E.R? -Chris' still caressing my forehead-

—You definitely should take her -Scott finally speaks and I lightly giggle- I mean, there could be something wrong. I hope not, but there could be.

—All I care about is my baby, and she's moving... But I think a double-check wouldn't be too bad, right? -I look up to Chris and he nods with a nostalgic smile on-

—Right -he mumbles-

I look again around the room and notice this isn't Carly's nor Aurora's bedroom, so I guess this is the guest room—the walls are painted in a peach light color, it has a queen bed in which I'm laying in, doesn't have much furniture but the essential.

My eye-sight exploration is interrupted by Savannah walking in on the room. I can't help but start to feel irritated... I know someone's presence shouldn't bother me, but hers does.

—Oh, she woke up. I brought you some water -she walks to the bed and hands a glass of water to Chris-

—Thanks -I mumble trying to be polite, so does Chris-

He helps me sit on the bed, stuffing a lot of pillows behind me to my comfort, and then, hands me the glass. I drink it in a split of second.

—I was feeling dry -I say sounding suffocated-
