Things have been going pretty normal the past weeks. Chris started filming Knives Out by now, he had to shave his beard off which made me feel kinda sad, but he still looks beautiful anyways – Elle has been sleeping more at nights and that's a relief for both Christopher and I, though I try not to bother him so much since he comes home tired.

I've been at home all days, FaceTiming my family and Chris' siblings, seeing Aurora so big now made me feel nostalgic, not long ago we were meeting her and now she's all big, thinking of my Elle growing up so fast made me soft. Neither Carly, Scott nor Shanna have met Elle yet, and seems like they're planning on a weekend trip here. I'm looking forward to it so much, when Elle's asleep, I get incredibly bored alone.

—Easy peasy -I say to my daughter, who's currently latched to my boob-

I'm sitting down on the living room, Elle resting on one arm and on the other hand, my phone. Trying to distract my mind using Instagram and Twitter.

—Do you miss daddy? 'Cause I do -I touch the tip of Elle's nose- of course you won't answer, but I'll take it as a yes.

I don't know how long am I going to stay at home, I'm already missing jogging on the evenings or just going for a walk -and perhaps, an ice cream- but to protect Elle's privacy, we are not going out. Chris only does when he needs to work, otherwise, it's all ordering food and things. When the time comes, we don't want to profit from Elle. Unlike from what we did when we announced my pregnancy, this time, we don't want magazine covers or family shoots.

Chris' P.O.V

—Looking good on knitted sweaters -Ana de Armas, the protagonist of the movie we're filming, compliments me-

I giggle, we are about to film some scenes on a diner.

—Thank you. Looking good being an investigator -I say amusingly, she chuckles-

—Hey, and how are your wife and daughter? -she kindly asks-

—Ah, they're good, at home. Elle's an angel, she gives us no problems -I proudly say-

Out of all the things I've done in life, being Elle's dad is the thing that makes me proud the most.

I take my phone out of my pocket and unlock it, showing Ana some recent pictures and videos of Elle.

—Oh my god! She looks exactly like you! -she gasps-

—I know, right? Her mom says the only thing Elle got from her is the nose -I giggle- but yeah, she's pretty much mine.

—You're lucky to be this little girl's father, she's charming!

—My current hobby is to brag about her -I joke- what about you and Ben? Any plans yet?

She makes a funny face before repeatedly shaking her head.

—Oh, no. Not at all -she furrows her eyebrows- Ben already has kids and I think I'm better at being... Their step-mom? God, I hate that word -we laugh along- I'm just gonna say friend, I'm better at being their friend than being a mom myself.

—Well, that's completely okay. Not every woman wants to be a mom and that's okay -I shrug-

—Yeah, I don't have what it take... That maternal instinct? Not at all, if you hand me a newborn baby, I'll probably get nervous and give it back -she jokes-
