—How are the lovebirds? -my mom asks as we walk in, causing Gabbie to blush right away-

—We're fine! Totally fine

—I can't wait to have grandkids

—Woah woah, stop there mom, you're too fast

—What? -she laughs- they'll look adorable

—I don't think I'll be delivering kids any time soon -Gabriela nervously giggles- where's the rest of this family?

—Robert's asleep, Scott is with his boyfriend, Carly's probably in some bar and Shanna's sleeping too, and I'm here, watching Ellen DeGeneres

—I love her! I truly do! -Gabbie takes a seat next to my mom-

—Did you see when Chris was a guest? I was in the crowd, It was so hilarious, I met her, too -she takes out her phone and starts to go through her gallery, showing Gabriela a picture of Ellen and her-

—That's awesome! -Gabriela gasps- the privileges of having a celebrity as son -she laughs-

Are you really analyzing the fact that you potentially might become the girlfriend to a celebrity?

—I could take you two to another Ellen's show -I proposed- you'll get to have bonding time

—Bonding time? -Gabriela asks with a confused look- but if we've bonded enough by n... Oh -she finally gets the clue-

—I guess he's referring to another type of bonding -my mom still explains to her-

—I get it now -she giggles, cheeks red as a tomato- well, it'll be my pleasure

—You know where I wanted to go? -My mom turns to ask Gabriela, she shakes her head- to the Avengers 4 set! -then she looks at me-

—Okay, that hint was extremely explicit -my mom and I laugh- everyone would be pleased to have you back, mom. And they'll more than pleased to meet you, Gabbie

—I'd love to meet them -she says lowly- but I can't promise to behave if I'm beside Robert Downey Jr. -my mom burst in laughter-

It felt kinda weird, I knew for sure that I got a little bit jealous even though Gabriela was joking so I just limited to laugh

—Then it's sealed, we'll fly to L.A in January!

—Not so sealed, remember that I have a job

And this is what made me leave my cloud nine, THE problem: the distance

—We could talk about it later -I smile, feeling a bit nostalgic-

—Sure... Anyways, I don't want to stay for long because it's late, I asked Chris to stop by to ask you about Christmas dinner

—What's wrong with it? -my mom asks her-

—Oh, nothing's wrong! I just wanted to know what can I bring for the dinner -she gives her a sincere smile, drawing all my attention towards her-

—Your presence, honey -my mom smiles her back- it's more than enough with it

—But I really want to contribute with something... What if I bring the dessert? -Gabriela asks while looking at my mom and I-

—Sounds good to me -I smile-

—Alright, then the dessert's on you, darling -we all stand up and Gabriela turns to hug my mom- we'll see each other a couple of days

I hold her hand as we make our way back to my car, she smiles at me as she caresses the back of my palm with her thumb, I open the door for her and then I go to the drivers seat

—I love your mom -she tells me-

—You do? I love her too, bet you can tell

—Anyone can tell, and yeah, she's the best, she's just so genuine, you inherited her golden heart

—I'm eager to get to your house so I can kiss you -I turn to see her, she puts one hand on my arm and starts to caress it-

—I can't believe this, you're extremely sweet

The drive to her building was quiet, we would glance at each other and smile, I stopped right outside her building

—Gabbie? I really wanted to thank you for accepting going on a date with me, it was perfect -I lean in looking for her lips but she backed off, leaving me with a concerned look-

—Are you serious Chris? I wanted to thank YOU for planning it out, it's been the most romantic date I've ever been in -she says making me smile-

She then leaned in and kissed me which took me by surprise since I thought I was the one to kiss her first -again-, the kiss was very sweet

—Had a great time -I assure her, I really want her to know that I enjoy her company- can I confess you something? -I ask her, suddenly feeling nervous but trying to play it cool, she mumbles a "sure"- well Gabbie, I really, really like you -I finally let that out- you're not like any other woman I've met, you're unique and that makes you so awesome

—I really like you too -even though it was dark I could see her cheeks bright red- I just thought I'd never be with you, and when I met you I realized you have a golden heart, what else can I say that you already don't know, Chris? You're really kind, I imagined you were sweet just not this sweet

I just smiled. She never thought we'd be together and on the other hand, when I met her I thought I wanted us to be together. There has always been something about her, some sort of connection, I really am not sure what it is, but I'm 100% sure there's something and I know she feels it too

—Chris, would you like to stay the night? -she asks me with a smirk on, I grin and nod- then let's get your car parked.
