The date was pretty nice, we wandered around Boston's streets, ate something here and there, tried to avoid attention towards Chris which seemed to work perfectly because no one approached us, we went back to my apartment, I had to get ready since we're gonna celebrate New Year's Eve in Lisa's house. I suggested Chris to go change and pick me up later but he insisted he wanted to see me getting ready

—So, you're gonna stick through the entire process? -I ask-

—What do you mean?

—I mean, you're gonna watch me shower too? -I chuckle-

—Of course I will -he winks-

—Nope. I was just joking okay -I say- I bet that if you get into that bathroom with me we'll last longer than usual

—You know me so well -he laughs- then I'll stay here watching the news -he switchs to BBC-

—Oh -I sigh- you're so old man -I tease him-

—Hey! -he pretends to be offended, I just laugh and got in the bathroom-

Took a quick shower because I didn't wanted to have Chris waiting too much for me, I went to the room again with a towel around my body

—So, what do you do first? -he asks sitting on my bed-

—Well, I usually do my hair first but since I straightened it earlier, I'm just gonna leave it that way -I explain- so, down to make up -I smile at him through the mirror, he smiles back-

I finished my makeup which I considered kinda simple and looked back at him, who was staring me

—Do you like it? -I ask him-

—You look perfect -he compliments me-

I sat on his lap and kissed him on the lips, leaving a little stain, making me laugh

—What? -he asks-

—Burgundy really suits you -I laugh even more-

His eyes flew to my mirror and he immediately chuckled, my fingers traveled to his lips and removes the color

—Can't believe I'm leaving this place in less than a week -I confess-

—You'll love L.A

—I'm pretty sure I will, it's just kind of nostalgic -I pause- I did plan to leave Boston someday but never thought it'll be this fast. Not that I regret it.

—We can come back to Boston a couple of times a year, even more if we're able to -he smiles- I actually bought a house here a couple of years ago

—What, really? -I ask surprised, I didn't know that-

—Yeah... But I'd rather stay at my mom's and since she's okay with it -he chuckles-

—I understand why -I tell him- spending so much time away from her, when you visit her all you wanna do is see her -I smile- I would kill to hug my mom right now
