The scent of coffee flowing through the house woke me up, I had an enormous headache and nausea as well, I look to the side and find Chris peacefully sleeping, I just hope he doesn't wake up feeling this bad.

My nauseating feeling betrays me and I have to head running to the bathroom, almost vomiting even my soul, my eyes were teary and my body suddenly swapped from energetic into weak, the door opens as I was flushing the toilet and I find Christopher half naked with a sleepy face

—Baby -he whisper rubbing his eyes- what's wrong?

—I woke up feeling bad -I swipe my mouth and walk to the sink to begin to brush my teeth-

—You're hungover

—Mhm -It's all I mumble while brushing my teeth-

Once I'm done, I start to wash my face and I realise Chris is still standing there, half asleep, looking at me

—How... Did you wake up?

—I feel okay, still sleepy but okay -he yawns-

—Why don't you go back to sleep?

—Come with me -he pouts with his eyes closed-

—Baby, I shouldn't, your parents are here and I should be the one making them breakfast

—It's okay, they'll understand, plus, you're feeling sick—come lay down with me -he grabs my hand and I quickly feel him elated while I was burning up-

I hesitate but end up giving in, he walks me back to the bed, carefully cuddling me back to sleep, not before leaving a kiss on the back of my head

—I love to be with you -he mumbles before falling asleep-

—I love to be loved by you -I think out loud as a response-

After that, Chris and I didn't say another word and fell asleep.

Don't know how many hours went by, but we were woken up by our son dog, Dodger, who someway, somehow came into the bedroom.

—Hey, buddy -Chris pets him- I know it's late and we should take you for a walk, we're sorry we're shitty parents -he jokes- how are you feeling, babe?

—Like hell, like a piece of trash, like I'm dying -I say without exaggerating... Well, maybe a teeny tiny-

—We should take you to the doctors just to make sure it's just a hungover and not something else -Chris sits on the bed while looking at me, he touches my sweaty forehead- you're burning, you must have fever

—It's no biggie, I might just spend the whole day laying down and tomorrow I'll be better

—I'm all about science, love, it's better if a doctor checks on you

I slowly deny with my head, I honestly don't feel like waking up from the bed

—It'll pass

—Hopefully it will, but please, you know I have to leave to Japan in a couple of days, I don't wanna leave you while you're sick so please, let's take you to a doctor

—Chris...

—We're coming to a doctor, I'm just going to ask my mom whether you should have a cold or a warm bath to lower your fever, I always forget it

He stands up from the bed, disappearing in the bathroom, after some minutes, he goes into his drawers and puts on some grey basketball shorts and a plan white short sleeve shirt
