The restaurant was a place very cozy itself, the lights weren't that high and the high walls were with some kind of dark mirrors adorned with gold all over the place. There were candles and plants too, as soon as we arrived, my hands began to sweat but I wanted to play everything cool

—I should've gotten you the biggest gift ever -I say grabbing her attention, she was trying to peek inside the restaurant-

—What are you talking about? -she turns to see me-

—You—I mean, you deserve the world and I didn't have time to buy anything -I pout-

—Are you seriously worrying about that? Come on, Chris -she lightly squeezed my hand smiling- I've got you, plus, you're taking me out for dinner

—Yeah but that ain't enough

And as I wanted, I completely distracted her from lookin inside the restaurant thanks to our conversation

—You're more than enough for me, I'm not a materialistic woman anyways, I care about the feelings... Those things that money can't buy

—I'd give you a kiss right now but I don't want red lipstick smudged all over my face -I joke making her laugh-

—Goodnight, what can I help you with? -the lady on the door finally asked-

—Night. I—um, reservation for Mr. & Mrs. Evans -I grin looking at my girlfriend who had her eyebrows raised-

—Oh, Mr. & Mrs. Evans, come this way -she motioned us to follow her-

—Chris? -she chuckles a little-

—What? I'm just practicing, wanted to know how it sounds... And sounds good, by the way -I wink at her-

As we were walking hand to hand through the restaurant she was admiring it, gotta say it's a really beautiful restaurant, but while she was so lost looking around I was looking straight up to the table were her parents and her sister were sitting in, waiting for us. Once we were really close I leaned in her ear

—Happy birthday, love

I brought her back to earth from her cloud-9 and once she looked up to the front, her hands went straight to her face, gasping

—Chris!!! What's that? Are they who I think they're? -her voice clearly cracking up-

Her sister and her parents stood up, walking to her and pulling her into a hug. Once Gabriela took her hands off her face, she was looking to them, still in shock. The scenario captivated me so much that a couple of tears left my eyes, but I quickly brushed them off, this is how happy I want her to be, always, and as long as I have the power to make her happy, I will. I took my phone out and snapped a couple of pictures, figuring out they'd want to have a memory of this moment, after a couple of minutes the family hug broke up and Gabriela came straight to my arms, pulling me in a tight hug

—I, I don't even have words for this, I can't thank you enough -she was hugging me so tight as if there was no tomorrow-

I kissed he top of her head, and smiled

—Anything for you, princess.

—I love you, Christopher. This is the best birthday present anyone has gotten me -she separates the tightness to look up to me, tiptoeing to kiss me, I leaned down and kissed her quickly- this is actually my best birthday and all thanks to you

—I love you so much words cannot express, Gabbie -I proudly smiled looking down at the woman I loved showered with happiness-
