Tears of sadness and anger were filling my eyes, I couldn't believe Chris wouldn't care about my feelings getting hurt—and it wasn't just a matter of feelings, it was a matter of moral too, am I going to be dragged all over the internet by his crazy ex girlfriend? What did I ever do to her? There's not a single explanation.

Once Dodger and I managed to down the hill, we find a bench to sit on, the big dog moves its paw to my tight and I giggle

—Do you really sense when people are sad? -I wait for a couple of seconds as if the dog would actually answer me- never mind, I'm talking to a dog while sitting on a bench, lonely, almost being able to contain her tears. Guess how much pathetic your mom is, Dodger? But, your dad's an asshole sometimes

I grab my phone and dial Amanda to see if she was busy or something to meet up, turns out she was. I instantly remember Carly's baby, and excited, grab the phone

—Hello -she instantly pick up-

—Carly! How are you, did you forgot about me or what?

—I'm sorry I've ghosted you—it's just, I've been so busy and frustrated with everything that comes along with being pregnant and having to prepare to have a child on your house -she sighs- but anyways, how are you? How's Chris?

—Oh, I'm so excited, I already want to spoil your baby -I giggle- I'm good, Chris' at the house

—And where are you?

—Oh I came for a walk. Carly?

—What?

—You're an aunt now, too -I say seriously trying to make her fall for the joke. I mean, she's kind of an aunt now since Chris and I have Dodger as son but of course she doesn't know about the dog and she's expecting me to be actually pregnant-

—What the fuck?!

—You're the first to now -I say trying to hold my laugh-

—Oh my god, my baby's going to have someone to play with -she squeals- how was Chris' reaction?

—He was super excited about it

—I can only imagine -she says with a sweet voice, my laughter was threatening to come out- and how far along are you?

When she asks that, I can't help but burst out laughing

—Well, our dog Dodger is 1 year old now -I hear Carly's scoff through the phone-

—A big fuck you to you, Gabriela. By the moment you're actually pregnant I won't believe you

—Won't be soon, so don't worry about it. When are you coming to L.A anyways?

—Don't know, I don't think I will be going soon, I am really busy and stressed out with the baby

—What happened with the baby daddy after all...?

—Ugh, I haven't said anything before because I was trying to process things but I guess talking it out will help it -she sighs- when I reached out for him to tell him the news he said that our thing was a one night stand, a baby isn't on his plans so... I'm going to be a single mom

—What?! He's a dick, he will be missing it out anyways, your baby will have so much love it won't be needing a father

—She'll hace two amazing uncles, so...

—Wait, she?

Oh, that -she giggles- it's not confirmed yet but I think it's a girl, I feel it in my guts
