Back to L.A

Coming back to the sunny city was one hell of an experience, turns out it was a windy day and there was a lot of turbulence, for moments, I thought that my life was ending right there with one of the most horrific deaths to exist, but thankfully I was able to get back safety... And to make everything even more traumatising? Chris wasn't there with me, Chris' schedule is now back to all-busy because he took a week off, now the work is accumulated, so instead of flying back home, he had to leave three days earlier to NYC and I kind of wanted to kill him because he never shared that little detail that I had to fly back alone.

For me, is the same as usual, my days were getting so boring at the store I'm considering to find another job, but I'm going to miss Amanda so much if I do—and luckily for me, she's on my morning shift today.

—What happened while I was away? Any interesting fact? -I ask Amanda while waiting for costumers to come-

—A famous rapper came in, Valerie quickly recognised her and asked for a photo

—Really? -I raise my eyebrows in bemusement- who was it?

—I can't remember the name right now...

—Iggy -Valerie appears beside us, joining the conversation- Iggy Azalea

—Ohh, the Australian, right? -I ask her, she nods- She's good, even though her music isn't my type

—While I don't even know who she was -Amanda jokes-

—How was your trip? -Valerie asks- any other celebrity wedding?

I furrow my eyebrows while looking at Amanda who's playing it cool, as if she didn't know anything

—Really? -I say-

—What? -she raises her eyebrows-

—Did you tell her the whole thing? -I ask again-

—I'm sorry if I asked anything that I wasn't su -Amanda cuts her off-

—What could I do? She's like a teenager! She won't stop asking questions and it just slipped out of my mouth -she shrugs and I roll my eyes-

—It's okay Valerie, there's nothing wrong with you -I assure her, not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable nor awkward- it's just that Amanda can't keep her mouth shut sometimes

A client walks into the store, quickly gaining our attention

—My saviour just arrived -Amanda says before leaving us there to help the costumer-

I lightly chuckle and shake my head while looking at Amanda find herself a ticket out of that mess

—So... How are you? -Valerie asks shyly-

—I'm good, Val. How've been your days here?

—At first it seemed to be tougher than I imagined but I can say that I'm handling it like a pro now -she proudly smiles-

—I'm glad you do -I smile back- the first time I started to work here I was so nervous but I tried to play it cool so people wouldn't notice... It worked
