Dinner at Michael's house went impeccably. I had an awesome time with Calum's friends, ate amazing food - with Luke encouraging me to eat until I couldn't breathe -, laughed until my belly hurt and drank Ash's famous margaritas. I missed a couple of classes that night but it was totally worth it. It was hard enough having to leave early and saying goodbye to that pretty face so I was proud of myself for showing up to class at all. On Thursday, I woke up with a massive headache from last night's recreational drinking, as Ashton would say. Things at work were chaotic and I had about a million emails to send out before my trip to London. I barely had time to grab lunch, what didn't help with my pounding headache but I was still in a good mood. How? Magic.

"There you are" Drew greets me once I step into our apartment way too late for my liking "Didn't see you all day yesterday"

I throw my purse on the coffee table and plop myself on the couch beside Drew. He's watching one of those Cooking Shows he loves so much.

"Went out with Calum and his friends yesterday after work" I tell him "But you weren't here when I got home after classes"

When I got home last night, Jason was passed out on the couch but Drew's bedroom was empty.

"I was out" He simply says while passing me the bag of chips

"With who?" I question before stuffing my mouth with food

"Do you eat like that in front of Calum?" Drew asks with a disgusted face "Ain't pretty to see"

"Leave me alone"

I haven't eaten a proper meal the whole day. I'm hungover and arriving home 3 hours later than I normally do. Don't mess with me.

"Alec is coming over for the weekend" He comments without taking his eyes from the TV

"Really?" I enthusiastically ask "Is Nate coming as well?"

"I don't know but that would be nice"

"The band is getting back together" I sing the last part expressing my excitment

I can't even remember when was the last time we were all together. There is always someone that has already made other plans and can't show up.

"Yo, Gia" Jason calls me from his bedroom "Think you can drive me to the airport tomorrow after work?"

"Where are you going?" Drew is the one to ask

"I told ya I was going to New York with Joey" Jas says before snatching the bag of chip from my hands

"Guess the band is not getting together just yet" I comment

Adult life sucks sometimes. Even with everything we had to go through our high school years, they still were the best. We had no bigger worries. We could always hang out. We were always together. I continue to watch TV with Drew as Jason walks around the house trying to pack his bag for the weekend. He asks for help but Drew and I are too lazy to get up so he just shows us clothes from his bedroom door and we give our opinions.

Stuck in the studio

See you tomorrow?

As you can see, Thursday was boring. The next day I went to work one hour earlier than usual and almost didn't make it in time to take Jason to the airport. He and Joey picked me up at Plus CO and I drove them to LAX. Jas left his beloved car to my cares which meant that Drew wasn't allowed to lay as much as a finger in the vehicle. Drew is an amazing cook but a terrible driver. To this day I still don't know how he managed to get a license. That's how terrible he is. I drove back to the apartment doing one of the things I love the most. Driving with windows down and loud music playing on the speakers. This feeling of freedom is one of the things that makes life worthwhile.
