Today is the day. I'm going to London with Calum. I was supposed to be well rested but I could barely get any sleep last night. I was supposed to feel confident and ready for my meetings but I was nervous about seeing Calum. I was supposed to be studying my client's case but all I could think was where would I stay now. Should I book a hotel room for me? Should I still stay with Calum? I was supposed to be excited for this trip but I'm not.

The company's car was supposed to pick me up at 6a.m but it arrived at my door at 6:14a.m. The talkative driver helped with my luggage and we got to the airport 52 minutes later. Mom and Lis called this morning to wish me a safe flight. Jason and Drew were up to make me breakfast and "not talk about the night before". I despatched my luggage and scrolled through Instagram while waiting for my flight to be called in to board. I waited in line with Bernard and his P.A and overheard the conversation of the couple in front of me where the guy was bitching about having to visit the woman's sister.

"Your seat has been upgraded" The flight attendant tells me once I present my boarding pass

"It has?"

I look at Clark - the P.A - who only shrugs his shoulders and says 'I don't know'. The employee says nothing and only gestures for me to follow him. He stops by a little cabin with a seat that is almost as big as my bed. There is an unnecessarily big TV screen, my very own minibar and way too much legroom . My eyes widen when I understand that's where he wants me to sit. First class. I've never travelled first class.

"First class?" I stupidly ask him "But why?"

I look around trying to find any familiar faces but Bernard and Clark have been directed to another section of the aircraft. I really doubt our company would pay for first class seats.

"It was requested ma'am"

Fucking Calum. I was more than happy to travel with Bernard and Clark in business class. I was happy to avoid Calum for the next 10 hours. I let out a sigh before making myself comfortable on the padded leather seat. The nice attendant stores my hand luggage in the overhead compartment while I try to figure out all the buttons on my armrest. Why do expensive things have so many utilities? This seat is so large I bet you could fit two Georgia's in here.

"If I'm being honest, it's only fair you travel first class" The flight attendant quietly says taking me by surprise "With all due respect"

"Oh, thanks" I'm blushing "It's my first time flying first class"

"My name is Trevor, ma'am. If you need to call me, just press the yellow button on your armrest. Let me know if there is anything else I can do to make your flight more pleasant"

"Thank you, Trevor" I smile at him but I'm not really sure about pleasant

I'll have to spend the next 10 hours sitting next to Calum. Fun times ahead.

"Would you like something to drink while the aircraft doesn't take off, ma'am?"

Should I order something? Things in first class must be way too expensive for my budget.

"Just water is fine"

"You can order anything in the menu" Trevor says gesturing towards the card attached to the side of my seat "For free" He adds in a hushed tone and I smile gratefuly at him

"In that case, can I have some wine?" I awkwardly ask

"Of course ma'am, no trouble at all" He smiles politely "A glass?"

"The bottle" I shrug my shoulders

If it's for free, why not get the whole bottle?

"Of course" Trevor lets out a chuckle "Excuse me, ma'am"
