"Are you almost finished?" I ask Calum from the small set of stairs in his backyard

The drops of sweat make a few strands of hair stick on his forehead and his tanned skin glows beautifully under the L.A. heat. A smile takes over his concentrated expression once he sees me and I can't help but smile as well. Calum takes off his headphones to talk to me as he tries to catch his breath.

"Missing me already?" He asks with a teasing grin but my eyes are too focused on the rise and fall of his shirtless torso

The sweat makes the muscles on his abs stand out and I don't even try to cover the fact that I'm completely checking him out. Why was I sunbathing in the pool this whole time when I could be here watching Calum work out?

"Georgia?"

"Yes?" I look up at Calum to find him seeming kind of shy

Oh please. You don't actually expect me not to stare when you're out here looking like that, right?

"You were saying...?" He trails off

"I'm starting to get bored out there" I say "Will you still take much longer?"

"No, just a few more minutes" He chuckles

"Okay" I nod turning around to walk back to the pool and Duke follows me "I'll be in the pool"

My plan is to work on my tan and not worry about a single thing for the entire day. Calum said we have nothing to do today so we are enjoying our time off. After I woke up to an empty bedroom this morning, disappointment ran over me as I kept thinking that we are officially out of our little bubble but I was happily proven wrong when I walked in the kitchen to find Calum cooking us a steak for lunch. Yes, lunch because it was two in the afternoon when I got out of bed. We watched a bit of telly after eating and now, here we are.

"You could always join me, you know?" I hear Calum's voice behind me

"You mean, work out?" I laugh "No, thanks"

I would totally embarrass myself trying to keep up with Calum's rhythm so I don't even try.

"Just for ten minutes, it won't kill ya" He tries to convince me with that killer smile of his but I know better

"I can think of a more fun way you could make me sweat" I joke and Cal throws his head back in laughter

"I like the way you think, Valentyne" He says in between laughs

I give him one last smile before returning to the pool area. It's a beautiful day today, not too hot but hot enough to let me spend the entire day in a bikini. I decide to call my friends and see what they're up to while Calum doesn't come back to keep me company. It's been a while since I last talked to the boys. For some reason they haven't been saying much in our group chat and I really miss those two. Thinking that Drew must be at work now, I ended up calling Jason first but he doesn't pick up. Soccer pratice, I assume. Then I decide to try Drew and surprisingly, he answers his phone.

"Hey D" I greet him "How are you?"

"Hi G. I'm good, how's the honeymoon?"

The honeymoon. Right. Well, it couldn't be better, thanks for asking.

"It's not a honeymoon" I laugh "And it's over anyway"

"Oh yeah, I see he's back in L.A." Drew sounds a bit unsure about his confession

That's new. How does Drew know that Calum is back in L.A.?

"What is that? You're reading gossip magazines now?" I mock him
