Gia: i'm staying in w/ jason

Gia: who's carrie?

Calum: Old friend of mine

Gia: oh okay

Calum: She took my virginity

Calum: Nice girl

Gia: what?

"What the hell" I blurt out in the middle of the movie Jason and I are watching in the playroom

"C'mon, I totally saw this one coming" He replies without taking his eyes off the screen "She was obviously dead from the beginning"

"No, not this" I say "Calum is going out with the girl that took his virginity tonight"

"Well, you went out for lunch with Ryan last week and he took yours"

There goes Jason bringing this shit up again. He's been pestering me nonstop about the fact that I haven't told Calum that I went out for lunch with my ex yet, and it doesn't matter how many times I tell him that I want to do this in person, Jason brings it up every chance he gets. Even though I did nothing wrong - we went out to talk and that was all we did -, Jas says that keeping it from Calum, makes it wrong. I'm not hiding, is what I tell myself, I'm only choosing not to tell him yet. But I will, I swear I'll tell him. As soon as he comes back from tour, I will. Okay, maybe not that soon. Perhaps I'll wait till after his birthday.

Calum: Don't worry

Calum: I don't have feelings for her

Calum: It's just sex

Gia: wtffff

Gia: is this a joke?

Calum: I'll be thinking about you the entire time

Gia: go fuck yourself

"What a fucking prick" I groan, throwing my phone on the other side of the couch "He's fucking her tonight, Jason. I can't believe this"

"Who is? Calum?"

Jason grabs the device that ended up landing beside him, and reads over the texts while I feel my eyes begin to tear up. I'm feeling sick and I can't believe Calum would do this to me, let alone tell me like it isn't even a big deal. Like I wouldn't mind that he's going out with some other girl and plans on having sex with her afterwards. I feel like such a fool sitting at his freaking house while he's taking some other girl out. What am I to him?

"Michael is calling you" Jason tells me "Should I answer it?"

"No! Don't" I say but Jas completely ignores my request and does the opposite of what I just asked him

Jason puts the call on speaker phone and, despite it being from Michael's phone, its Calum's voice I can clearly hear. A voice I love and miss dearly, but one I would much rather hear under different circumstances.

"Gi, babe. It's me" He says making me want to cry

"Go to hell, Calum" I blurt out, trying to hold back the tears that threat to escape my eyes

"Mike has my phone, it's all a joke. I swear it's not true" He is quick to say, allowing me to breathe again. I can't explain how relieved I am right now "We're in the middle of something like a prank war and he took my phone when I went to the bathroom"
