You're so dark (an Alex Turner fanfic)

the big day -part6-

"So you're Alex' lil girlfriend hm?" she heared an unfamiliar voice behind her and so she turned around. There was a man standing behind her on that veranda kind of thing from where you had a good view over the lake and landscape.

 "I'm sorry, did we allready meet?" she asked polite as she smoked, ignoring the fact how rude he had started the conversation, she was not looking for a verbal fight on how to talk to a lady.

 "No not yet, but I was just wondering how cute lil Alex could have someone like you warming his bed"

 "Excuse me?!"

 "Wouldn't you want a real man?"

 Ruby was speechless, this could only be a bad joke she thought. How on earth could this guy mean this serious?!

 "I would prefer to finish this" she held up her cigarett "alone and in silence, if you wouldn't mind...or it will soon find it's way into your filthy skin!" she said and really sounded if she would just burn out his eye if he would not back off.

 The guy only smiled at her "My name is Anthony, just so you know which name to scream tonight" he continued and left her even more disgusted than she allready was.

 "Havn't  I been clear enough?!"

 "Oh wildcat you're more than clear, and I like that!" he said and got one step closer to her. She backed off immediately until her back touched the stone rail of the veranda.

 "Go away!" she said sharp and confident.

 "The kitten does not like to play, hm?" he said and grabbed her arm, tight.

 She was so sick of guys like that and she had learned a long time ago that talking was no good with such assholes.

 "Once more, let me go and fuck off!" she said serious but he only moved closer to her, she could smell the amount of alcohol he must have had and was even more disgusted by this guy, maybe 30.

 "I warned you asshole" she said with a smile and pushed her knee as strong as possible up into his most vulnerable parts, making him sink foreward and hold his parts.

 She stood over him and held him by his shoulders "I warned you! Either you ge the fuck away now or I'll have to take real messures on you giant dickhead!"

 The man kept quiet but then grabbed her wrists "Why are you stupid bitches allwas so fucking stupid?!!" he hissed and then pushed her against the wall of the reail.

 She could not even believe what was happening. Was this guy really trying what she thought? Such a fool! She was about to use some more violence against him when suddenly she heared how the door opened again and saw how the guy was dragged away from her by someone. The man who did so quickly pulled the drunken one down the stairs and into the garden away from her. Alex stood in front of her while she heared the other two getting away, the guy who plagued her cursing and talking drunk shit.

 "I'm so sorry!" Alex said, she could see that he ment it.

 "It's not your fault that this asshole was rude to me"

 "Did he do anything else than -"

 "- No I'm fine"

 she gave him a smile "You should know that I'm not giving in to assholes like that..or should I remind you on how we met?"

 "No..but...oh god...I feel kind of in charge for this useless idiot..."

 "He was drunk for sure..but who was he?"

 They sat down at a bench on the empty and dak veranda.

 "He's Cates other brother...he's actually really cool"

 "Yeah...saw that"

"His long time girlfriend left him last week...and seing his sister all happy and...well...he was allways a little...troubled.."  Alex burried his face in his hands "I'm just sorry..." Ruby stroke over his arm "It's ok..nothing happened and as long as he apologises when he's sober.." 

 "Oh believe me he will! I will make him if necissary!"

 She smiled and put one arm around his neck, laying her chin down on his shoulder.

 "I 'm still sorry that that happened..." he said quietly.

 Ruby shoke her head "Don't ! It's allready forgotten, just another guy treating me bad, kind of got used to it I guess" she said sounding half joking and on the other half serious-sad.

 He turned his head to look at her "I could never treat you bad" he said looking deep into her green eyes. She smiled at him "I know Alexander" she whispered a kiss on his lips.

 "Want to get back inside? I believe Isabella wants to ask you something" he said smiling and got up, hand in hand with her.

"Of course...do you have some pens with you?" The eyes of the little girl started shining bright and she noded hasty and got a small bag with pens out from her own bag. Alex smiled as he watched the scene when Ruby got a black one and started drawing some artfull flowers on Isabellas arm that was laying over the table.

 The small girl had told Alex that she wants to look like Ruby and so he got the idea with letting his girlfriend 'tattoo' her. And ten inutes later the irl had some beautiful pics on her arm that would vanish during the next shower. Isabella gave Ruby a nice hug and leaned to her ear "I am happy Ally is with you! He looks so happy and please become his wife someday" the little one said and walked away , immediately showing everyone of the guests how cool her arm now looked.

 Alex smiled at Ruby "What did she say?"

 "Girls-promise"

 "Hmm...if she's dating someone I got to know! i'm her second dad!" he joked

 "A lil'early for that...but I'm sure she'll break a lot of heart in maybe ten years.."

 He looked at the girl who was across the room and talked to his mother, showing her the arm that got decorated by Ruby "She will.."

 "Oh god weddings are allways so boring..." he said and looked at her and suddenly she gave him a look, like when she tied him in the morning that could only mean that she got an idea.

 "Hmm...how about we spice this a little up for the two of us, hm?"
