You're so dark (an Alex Turner fanfic)

cookies -part1-

"Oh yes, and this is the most important inhabitant of our flat" Alex said smiling when Isabella sat down on the ground and looked at Heisenberg who came in from the balcony, looking at their guest and then a little shy walked to her. "You have a cat!" Isabella said happy and waited for the cat to get over to her.
 "Yes, he moved in when Ruby did, it was hers, now it's ours, he's called Heisenberg" Alex explained.
 Heisenberg was usually shy with everyone else who was new, except for Alex, the cat had loved him on from the first moment, just like his owner.
 "come here Heisenberg" Isabella called him but the cat was a little too shy. Ruby smiled and took him up in her armsand then sat down next to Isabella, who smiled bright. Ruby put a kiss down on the cat's head stroke him a little before she put him softly on Isabellas lap.
 Her eyes started to sparkle when Heisenberg purred softly and rubbed his head against her chest.
 Isabella giggled and started to stroke the cat soft and carefully. "I would love to have a pet...a cat...a black one and I would call her 'Mardy Bum' because of your song..." she said while Heisenberg made himself comfy on her.
 Ruby smiled and saw how this girl managed to make Alex's heart melt once more.
 "Oh would you name her like that?"
 "Yes. But my mum and dad don't allow me to have a cat...they say I wouldn't care for a pet and that I'm too young..." she said sounding sad.
 Before Ruby and Alex could say something Heisenberg laid down completely on her and forced her to also lay down on the ground, so he could curl up on her belly.
 "He's so cute!" she said happy and looked at Ruby.
 "So you're ok with sleeping in my 'working-room?" Alex asked. He meant his music-chamber how Ruby called it. He had a couch in it and guitars and stuff. Isabella noded "Yes, I'll sleep in there, but only if I'll get some good-night-songs from you!" she said smiling, making Alex laugh "Oh hoo..the young lady knows how to make a deal!" Isabella laughed and Alex noded "Allrigt, we'll manage that I guess"
 "Hey, are you hungry?" Ruby asked and Isabella noded.
"What do you want to eat? I think Alex bought this shop empty to have whatever you want to eat" she smiled.  But Isabella looked a little sad "My parents don't want me to eat unhealthy stuff or-"  But Ruby interuppted her softly "your parents are not here, right? So that means that we decide ourselves what we want to eat, or when to go to bed...or what to do the whole weekend long, so if you want Hamburgers on Pizza with fries and chocolate and some chicken nuggets on your plate, you'll get it" she said smiling and saw how the girl smiled by her words. Alex also had to smile because Ruby had lied to him, about that she wasn't good with kids, she was doing just perfectly fine in his eyes.

"I'll go" Ruby said and went to answer the door while Isabella sat on the counter in the kitchen, watching how Alex tried his best in cooking Spaghetti with Tomato-Meat sauce. He wasn't even doing too bad. Heisenberg was laying next to her, it seemed like she was becoming his new favourite human because of the never ending stroking he was getting from her and Ruby knew where the cat would be sleeping tonight.
 She opened the door to find Matt, whom she was really not expecting. He smiled bright and gave her a hug "I hope I'm not disturbing you, but alex told me that Bella will be here and...I mean I at least have to say hello" he smiled. Ruby noded and got back to the kitchen with him, where Isabellas eyes wideden and she immediately jumped down from the counter.
 "Matt" she said happy and giggled when he lifted her up for a hug.
 She was't that small actually but still enough for him to lift her up.
 "Hey there! God when was the last time I've seen you?? You've been a small baby the last time!!" he smiled and let her down again. Matt was family for them, he did not even have to ask if it was ok to stay for a little while. Ruby even assumed Alex and Matt had the key for each others appartment. "Hey, do you want to eat with us?" Ruby asked and saw hope Isabellas smile got even wider. Matt and Alex were her favourite non-biological dads. "Sure, if Turner won't screw on cooking!" he grinned and took off his jaket.

"Ruby you really accomplished something there, Turner can cook! Something I did not knew before he knew you!" "Ha Ha, so funny!" Alex said trying to sound grumpy but it didn't work really.
 "Aww, poor Alex..." Ruby grinned and Isabella simply laughed cute. Both noticed that having this atmosphere they had around her, was good for th elittle one. Ruby guessed that Dave and his wife were not quite in seventh heaven with their relationship and that two adults truly loving each other was kind of new to her. "You wanna help me to tify up, so Ruby won't hate on me for messing up our home?" Alex asked Isabella who noded happy "Matty needs to help too, we can do a que to the kitchen so we just have to hand everything over!" she suggested. "Isabella, you're going to be a successful lady one day!" Matt smiled and stood up.
