„Ok hun, it's nearly dark already, I'm gonna go to meet Nick....hey do you need anything? Food? Any Tattoo-Magazine? I'd go to the shop if you want me to“ Alex stood in the door to the bedroom, where his girlfriend laid under the duvet, curled up like to a small as possible ball.
He only earned a muffled moan from her.
„Darlin' are you ok?“
Another moan and he saw how the mess of blankets, pillows and Ruby moved a little on the bed. He stepped further inside, allready wearing his leatherjaket.
He reached the bed and bowed down to give her a kiss on the neck, one of the only part of her that was visible.
„You ok?“
She moved on her side, facing him while having her arms crossed over her belly, her legs pulled up so her knees nearly reached her belly.
„Hmmm“ came from her.
„Hmmm?“
„My belly hurts“ she explained into his pillow that smelled like his aftershave.
„Ohh....but you're not pregnant, are ya?“ he asked half joking half serious.
He got a pillow into his face as an answer.
„As far away from that as possible actually“ she answered and he understood.
„Oh..ok...you need a painkiller?“
„You know I don't take pills..“
„Sorry“ he truly was, he sometimes forgot about the terrible things she had told him and the reason why she does not take pills like painkillers nearly broke his heart.
„Do you need anything? I mean any supplies?“ he asked caring and sat down on the bed.
She lifted her head „You would really get into a shop to buy tampons for your girlfriend?“
„Ehm...yeah why shouldn't I?“
„My last boyfriend refused on doing that“
„Your last boyfriend was an abusive asshole!“
She smiled „Got a point on that ...but thanks...I got everything“
He looked at her for some moments, she looked small, vulnerable, like a kitten that needs to be taken care of. And so he took off his jaket and laid own next to her, hugging her softly and putting a kiss on her nose.
„What are you doing? Go leave! Nick is waiting for you!“ she said protesting as he nuzzled his face into her warm neck.
