" 'Monsters Inc' " Isabella chose and handed Alex the DVD. "Good choice" Ruby smiled and sat down on the couch, soon followed by the little one. She sat down in the middle of it, so Alex and Ruby were at each side of her.
 Ruby had cut the Pizza, put the plates on the couchtable, together with some drinks.
 She was probably as happy about this evening as Iabella. Ruby could still remember some of those evenings with her own parents before they had died. She would do everything on this world to just get one of those evenings back. To go back in time and have one day with her parents. Or if she could introduce Alex to them, spend Christmas together, things like that. She often wondered how her life would have turned out if her parents just would have taken a Taxi five minutes later, maybe then the other car wouldn't have slipped on the icy street and wouln't have crashed theirs.
 Ruby was in this car as well. With her mother on the backseat. If Ruby would have sat on the other seat, she would have been killed, not her mother. She could still remember some of those crashe's moments. When they got hit, the car spinned, how she had screamed, and then how she saw the lifeless body next to her, blood all over. Sometimes she couldn't stop those images to pop up in her head, it just happened and whenever it did, Alex always sensed it, he knew exactly what she was thinking about, without her needing to explain it. Then he always tried to distract her, make her feel loved and secure. It worked. Sometimes he took his guitar, read out some Poe books or they watched old italian horror movies together. And sometimes all she needed was just a tight hug and a kiss.
 The movie started playing and Alex sat down next to Isabella and instinctly put his arm around her shoulder. He could see how both his girls loved this situation. He stroke softly over Ruby's cheek, making her smile.
 They started watching the movie, ate their Pizza, laughed and had fun. It was like a happy family friday evening, nothing could destroy the beauty and happiness of it.

"Ok Isa...sleep well, and if anything's wrong, just come over to us, you know where our bedroom is." Ruby gave her a hug and got up from the comfy couch in Alex's music room. Alex stood in the door  smiled at both.
 "You're job now Daddy" Ruby whispered in his ear as she walked past him, giving him a kiss.
 Isabella smiled excited as Alex who took his favourite and oldest guitar. It had scratched all over from the constant use. If this guitar could write a book, it would be his book of life.
 He sat down on the couch beside Isabellas feet. She giggled excited and pulled the duvet up higher under her chin.
 "Allright then Mardy Bum" he anounced and made her giggle even more, Alex knew she loved this song. "What's your wish?"
 She thought for a moment "Cornerstone!" she answered happy.
 Alex smiled and cleared his throat, starting to tune his guitar, of course he made a little show for the girl.
 Ruby was in the livingroom, cleaning up a little. The smell of Popcorn was still around so she opened the balcony door, where Heisenberg immediately got out to lay down on the couch on the balcony.
 When she heared the first tunes from the other room she had to smile to herself. She also loved this song and she used every opportunity to remind him of this particular video.
 She put the dishes in the kitchen and took another cookie, which really tasted awesome in fact and the ghosts they had cut out were like the cutest thing ever, and she decided that she would defenitely make some christmas cookies with Alex in december.

Ruby leaned in the door of the room and looked inside, Alex hadnd't seen her yet and Isabellas eyes were allready closed, she was close to sleep. His guitar playing got quieter and quieter during 'She's thunderstorms' and he ended the song quietly, seeing that she was sleeping.
 He put the quitar down and softly stroke over her cheek and whispered a cute "God night" before he turned around and his face lighted up immediately when he saw that Ruby was watching him.
 He gave her a kiss and took her hand, got out with her and quietly closed the door.
 She gave him a tight hug, nuzzeling her face in his neck, as soon as they were outside "I love you" she whispered as he stroke over her back "I love you too pumpkin" was his answer and he burried one hand in her dark hair.

"I got another idea what to do tomorrow after our boat trip...we could go to the Butterfly house...It's so beautiful there and maybe we can have a look at the Natural History Museum...I mean it's interesting there, not boring like some others...we could ask her if she'll like to go there..." Ruby mumbled against Alex' shoulder while cuddeling in their bed.
 He smiled "Sure, that's a good idea, I think she'll like it"
 "She stole your heart completely" Ruby said and smiled.
 "Hey...don't act like she hadn't stolen yours" he laughed.
 They kept on cuddeling in silence and Alex wanted to turn off the light when suddenly they heared a shy and quiet knock on the bedroom door.
